Thank you and enjoy Хобби
Very nice results with that yew; very impressed with the color as well. It was good watching your turn that scoop -- you provided some good information just showing how you turned it. Looking forward to seeing what you do with those other pieces, especially the red heart.
Great scoop.
Well done, my friend. Good looking scoop. And very lovely wood pieces you got there. Can't wait to see how much blanks will you get from that ckracked timber.
Should be interesting 😉
Thank you very much
Like the yew, i came here to watch your skills, and you did not disappoint! Some day i'm going to attempt that hollowing technique you use. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you,glad you enjoy it😀

A nice big chunk of yew. That is a big scoop, lovely figure and colour indeed. Looking forward to see what you turn from the rest, and from the other woods. Thanks for another educational and entertaining video. .

You although can polish yew verry good and it looks amazing.

Hi Tomislav, I’ve noticed it a lot in your videos how neat your signature is 🤗 how about a video on how you came to be that good on doing that ? Or have I already missed it ? Sorry forgot to mention that was a lovely scoop 😊
Thanks Jim, You didn't miss it, I'll see what I can do on that topic😀
Beautiful!
Some awesome timber! I love turning Red Heart!
Works great 👍
Another appreciated turning demo!!
Thank you
The one blank looks more like katalox than ziricote.
I saw some of my order in there. Looks great Tomislav.
Indeed,glad you like it 😀
love these little scoops. thanks for sharing. how much to sell these for ?
Thank you, depends on size ,these can be sell for 10-15$
Cool - this for salt and pepper?
Or flour, not sure what customer will use it for but usually is used for salt, pepper, flour and similar
From my reading, I would not use yew for anything food related.
Absolutely agree. The alkaloid poisoning, for which there is no antidote, causes, among other symptoms, severe cardiac dysrhythmias. It is not worth trusting ingestion even from dried forms of the wood. I recently acquired some slabs of yew and have been pondering what to make from them.....picture frames or vases maybe, but definitely not sushi plates.
