Assessment of weather stations following Hurricane Beryl in Grenada

Climatologist and Hydrologist Consultant for the G-CREWS project, Dr Gerhard Rappold has underscored their vital role of weather stations in collecting accurate data related to weather patterns and climate change. He noted that proper maintenance of these stations ensures reliable data collection, which is essential for informed decision-making and resilience planning.
Dr. Rappold was part of a team from the Ministry of Agriculture & Lands, Forestry, Marine Resources & Cooperatives and the Met office who visited several sites to assess the impact of Hurricane Beryl on the islands' weather stations.
