    Oh man wow. I needed this today. A racing mind reset. Recently purchased my first home and I’ve been stuck in a loop practically watching every lawn care video on RUclips I can find. Then a new search. And re-watch. Now all warm and cool season pro tips all jumbled meaningless together. But this…this is exactly what I needed!! A mind reset. No overthinking. Just do. Thank you!! I can really get behind the "I don't know if this hobby is for me" philosophy. I'm an avid golfer and cyclist and I can't count how many times I've seen people drop stupid cash on bikes and clubs and then say, "Wow, this kinda sucks!". Remember your friends in Florida with this sand under our Bermuda. We definitely have to water more often.

      I live in Wisconsin, nice lake front property about 20' above the shore. Plenty of clay in the hillside, but up top it's very sandy here too.
      Moved in last year and my vegies didn't grow for squat. Thinking either raised garden or 5 gallon buckets this year. And the lawn is pretty poor too.

      LOL good question. I will say, I have videos of me in my rocking chair in the garage, sitting still on the driveway or pickle bucket, standing still in spots, or pacing like this one. People bitch and moan about them all no matter what. I just make sure to get a good variety in there for the hard to please people. Thanks for watching and commenting. Appreciate ya!

    I get the point on mowing alot, but thats not great advice for everyone. Ive seen big lawns damaged from mowing every 3 days with a heavy tractor

    • @BudgetLawns
      @BudgetLawns  3 года назад

      Of course, there are exceptions. But the fact is, frequent mowing is good for grass. There's no way around that. It is what it is. I know people who mow every other day on very short cut bermuda grass. Because of the turf type and height, it has to be mowed that often. I never said it was great advice for everyone. Not every grass type is the same. People have to assume some sort of responsibility for what's best on their lawns. I'm not gospel truth. Just here to help. Appreciate ya watching and commenting.

      @@BudgetLawns yessir and I’m letting the viewers know who look at comments who dont have bermuda and have 4 inch tall fescue. Dont want to drive a mower on that tall cut turf 3 times a week or it will damage it.
