The sole of the Marana is good. The Joslin is like the marana with a lot more padding and it feels like the upper part of the shoe molds to your feet more. The ankles are also a little higher on the Joslin which I found helps a lot when I jump and land funny. I don't know how people ride in half cabs or Pumas, but I'm 6 foot 2 and 195 pounds (Size 12 in my riding shoe) so I need a stiffer more durable shoe or else my feet hurt a lot when I ride.
Thank you for the comment! I looked up the Emerica Figgy G6. It has a cool design. I also watched a video introducing that shoe, and I thought it seemed to have good cushioning.
Thanks for the comment! I've been using 8.5(26.5cm) in both cases for a long time. But recently I've been trying a 9.0(27.0cm) because I feel like going up a bit in size would be better for me. I've heard other people say that the same size as their regular shoes is just fine.

Thanks for the english subs! The Maranas look interesting. My current favorites are the Emerica Figgy G6.
