I agree for the most part (having owned the M2P) but the Hasselblad sensor might be better, I also liked the variable aperture. Also having flown the Air 2, I believe the M2P is more capable in the wind.
Yeah funny video and good comparison. I thought also if I should wait on Mavic Pro 3 BUT it will cost much more, the housing size is bigger, higher weight and what should be the big benefit for me? I will stay on the Air 2 housing size, best flying behaviour than my other drones before ( I got Mavic Pro, Mavic Air, Pro 2 Zoom and Air 2), 4K with 60fps is very good, 5,4k with 30fps....brings already my 5K iMac (2015) in little problems...fluently playing seems to be a problem...and if you want to switch to 8K I think most of the user has to update the computer hardware too...therefore I will sell my Air 2 and the Air 2s is on the way...;-))) Cheers DrDuu

i dont own any of them but i watch many reviews on the Air 2s on other drone channel's and id like to think and believe for the most part their being honest cause most of them mirror each other ,but many infact recently are saying its just not worth it way to expensive and it isn't that great ,and to wait for the Mavic 3 so its weird but that being said as mentioned i own the mini's series so i dont have first hand experience on that
Well you're not meant to fly that high for one thing. However, hypothetically, at that altitude probably the Air 2S because it will have a better long distance signal with O3 vs Ocusync 2.0
MP2 is still the most capable drone from being able to do everything, BUUUUTTT, the air 2 does most things apart from apature and the weight in the wind. Also if you can pick one up refurbished or used for less than a grand then it's a great deal. But would not throw a stick at the air 2 at all.
Yeah good point. Just because the MA2 has come out doesn't make the M2P a bad drone by any stretch of the imagination, and you're 100% right, if you can get one on deal or a refurbed one at a good price then you're winning! 👍😊
Sold my Mavic 2 Pro for 810€ and just had to invest a tiny amount of money and buy the Air2s for 999€. Had the Fly More Package attune Mavic and found only the batteries and the Charger useful. So the upgraded Charger comes originally with the Air2s and over the time I had to invest in 1 or 2 more batteries. But from my pov the change in models with paying only 200-300€ is a no brainier.
Ha ha, bloody new drones, i’ve had my Mavic pro 2 since Xmas and it’s superseded already 🙄😀 A question if I may, ‘unrelated’ I have the gopro Fusion and am now unable to process it on my Mac have you had the same issues?

Look how good the colour science still is on the 2 year old Mavic. I will definitely buy a second one. I have seen many other videos out there showing the same even though the author or reviewer is stating it still the same

Yes the P4 pro V2 is a better image quality, my go to for most shoots, however the mavic 2 pro is my go to when portability is necessary. The new air 2s is just so good ya gotta have one in the backpack. So its a win win for us, they all are great.

As highly capable as the larger drones are, they are still too large for me and I will stick with the Mini series for now
