What can a i say.... a week ago i was in New York for the first time in my life and thanks to Mike i tried things like that beautiful Beef Jerky in china town and the Char Siu... some of this places in the video i went too, but man!! i really miss that city... just thanks Mike for this videos!!
Sesame ice cream is definitely one of my favorite ice cream flavours. With peanut ice cream ! And red bean ice cream ! Yum ! All those asian flavours :D when I watched the mango and pandan sticky rice one, I literally told myself "oh that would be my favorite of them all" as soon as you said what it was. It does look delicious !! I'm exactly the same, each time I eat too much sweets, I need as much savoury to compensate. I just need it !

Mango sticky rice is one of my favorite desserts of all time and I have never seen it look anything like that! It is amazing for its simplicity usually, that is what makes it so great. But I guess all good things end up updated etc...
New York would seriously love roti sai mai (a crepe with candy floss in the middle)
I've done dessert for part of all meals in in day SO MANY TIMES now that I crave bread and cheese on my days off. Doesn't mean I stopped doing it.
Also, that egg tart looks glorious and now I need to convince myself to go back to NYC.

The key is that having an active lifestyle will of course change your metabolism.. so an improved metabolism is a benefit of an active lifestyle, and that is something you can take into your own hands.
Of course, how many people even strive to self-improve???
I understand your point, it is often the problem but not all the time...
I have a cousin with an awesome metabolism (she is not that active...) that is better than mine when I was very active.

Those egg tart`s (pasteis de nata) only cost 35 euro-cent where i live (in Portugal) I always get one with my coffee.

One evening a friend and I set forth to eat at as many ice cream joints in the city that we could. We made it to five, and definitely needed a savory stop (dumplings) along the way to keep the balance! You do the good work here.
You must make it a mission to find good Asian spots in the Bronx. There has to be some and you're just the guy to find them.

Haha... my recent trip with my daughter to NYC, we had the food tour of the life time (our life time as San Diegans, that is). Thanks to my niece, who's a foodie herself and the fact that we stayed at Chinatown where my best friend lives! My daughter's taste palette was exposed to so many delicious flavors. We attempted the Chinatown Ice Cream factory but failed, ended up with crepes, even for her at age 12, knows that the crepes place did not taste good. Egg tarts are my favorite, and I had plenty on this trip until on the day of our departure my niece told me about this Portuguese egg tart that is even more superior. Wow, next time. I can totally see you and my niece do a NYC food tour episode! She knows the food and the history of every building and neighborhood in NYC.

As an Asian person i would say that western people do desserts better than Asian people although Mango pancakes are hard to beat.

Adorable potato So idk if this is what you're asking but in the US most people don't think India when we say Asian. It's basically Japan, Koreas, China, etc, but if we want to say Indian food or people we specifically say Indian. I only found out recently that the UK seems to lump Indians into the Asian category. It's kinda a weird difference right?

If you like Portuguese egg tarts so much you should definitely go to Portugal! Here they are sold everywhere and even in supermarkets, they taste fantastic. We also have excellent seafood and, if you´re a sweets lover, in Portugal you can find some tasty and flavourful traditional desserts like "Natas do céu" or "Bola de Berlim".
