  • 🌈 Carry of the week 4️⃣ Charlie's Cross Carry with one ring
If you start with a hipscoot, or a Superman or santatoss, you will notice that the first layer in this carry, which goes under the leg, can give a leaner or very active baby room to move away from your body, until the second layer is added. Keep tension on the top rail and make sure the layer is spread over both shoulders.
🧡To tie Charlie's Cross Carry with one ring, you'll need a base size +1 wrap (or base size for shorter tails) and a sling ring. We wish you a happy wrapping 🥳

@@Wrapyouinlove after practicing this one a bit, it has quickly become one of my favorite back carries for long walks and hikes. Could you do a video on tandem carry options for an older toddler that wants up and down frequently, and one that stays in the wrap the whole time?

I'm about to buy my first woven wrap (thanks to you!) and I'd also like to buy some rings. What size ring do you recommend to start with? What size do you have in this video?

I would recommend both size M and size L. For most finishes where you go through the ring with both tails, you would need a size L. If using the ring instead of a knot, mostly a size M is needed. 🍀

Is there any way to do this without rings? This looks like an awesome option for my little wiggle baby.

There are many variations. Depending on the length of your wrap, you could bring one strap under the waistbelt and back up to tie a knot (or sliding knot) with both shoulderstraps in the front. Or bring one under the waistbelt and twist the other shoulderstrap over it before bringing both to the back for a knot in the back.
