    I just shared this with a friend whose son is a week old. I feel so nostalgic! ❤️ I first watched this video almost 6 years ago now. I had my little baby boy about a week and a half before she did. I watched our boys grow at the same time. I was new to woven wraps so I really appreciated all the newborn tips and tricks in this video, and others. I highly recommend them. I especially like the tip about rolling a wash cloth or piece of fabric and adding it to the rail behind the head for extra support. It can also be done in a ring sling. My only regret was having my baby in early summer. Wearing a size 6 woven in the heat was not something I could cope with. 😞

    Wow most detailed FWCC video I've seen! Thanks! I just bought a woven wrap for my 3-month-old, I am a total noob and very unpractical. My husband is convinced I will never manage and bought it for nothing. Saw many videos and I still didn't get it. But this one is really step-by-step, I'll practice with it and check out your channel to encourage me to persist with the woven wrap!! 😊

    thanks for your sharing. I'm in China. Baby wearing is not quite popular here, actually most people don't know about this. I bought a little frog wrap, but haven't mastered the way to wrap. My baby is about to three months. I'll try your way tonight. wish me good luck.

      Just make sure the knees themselves are free and your baby can move the lower part of the legs. You could put "babylegs" (legwarmers) on your baby if you like.

    Thank you for making this channel! So happy to find short sweet and to the point videos with detail too. Do you by chance have one where you show nursing a newborn? I try to in this front carry but always feel like I'm going to suffocate him. Thank you!!

    Thank you so much for the video tutorial! I remember seeing a video on you using two rings to convert a wrap into a ring sling (like a temporary conversion by just tying a knot with 2 rings). Can you please share the link again? I can't seem to find it :(

    Hey there! Due with my first in Feb. Just purchased my first used size 7 Oscha that I'm very excited about! Not really experienced at all with wrapping, though. I have a mobi as well. With my woven for this carry, if I have enough length, can I tie in the front so it will be comfortable when I'm sitting down?

    Hi! I discovered your great videos by chance from another wrapping mom, my encounter with her was brief though and I didn't have my wrap yet😯 now I do, I have a size 6 smitten one. my babes is already in love with it, and is so happy and gurgly in it unlike my other carriers. The only thing though is she REALLY likes to lean, like I can't use a ring sling with her because she just pushes herself sideways😖 it's better with the wrap, but do you have any suggestions for me? which carries are better for the little squirt, I'm used to it but sometimes she really throws herself when excite which makes me nervous!

    If the baby doesnt hold his head yet, should the wrap remain over his head or should still be folded back?

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  4 года назад

      always make sure the airways are free & you can see you child's face. up to the ears should be high enough if a baby doesn't hold his head yet. If you position the baby right (knees higher then the bottom, pelvic tilted, back rounded) the head will automatically rest on your chest .

    • @aliceke91
      @aliceke91 4 года назад

      Wrapyouinlove thank you so much for your reply! I’ll try again tomorrow then. My baby is so keen on lifting his head each time he is tummy down (or sort of) that today in this wrap he also kept lifting his head. But again, maybe I missed something :)

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  4 года назад

      @@aliceke91 maybe he's just practicing strength :) you could always add a neckroll (by folding a small washcloth and fold it in the top part of the wrap, at the neck) to give some more support

    Hi, love the channel. How would I know if I'm not cutting the circulation off to my babies legs being too tight, and how do I remedy this? Thank you

    • @MegaViva123
      @MegaViva123 6 лет назад

      Reguraly you don't Cut the legs, if so , legs will turn blue. Tight each section tight, and it will not happen.

    Hi! I'm new to mommyhood and wrapping. When I wrap my 4 week old babe this way (also premie- 4weeks early and currently 6lb 11oz) it seems like her back or maybe her bottom is not supported enough because it seems like her back slumps a little crooked after a minute or two. Do you have any tips on how i can fix this? Thanks:)

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  8 лет назад

      +Jena Wark did you make sure to get all the slack out underneath her bottom? if you don't tighten it properly the wrapjob will loosen up as you move. If you find she will have a crooked back eventhough she's supported enough I would advice to get her checked by a ostheopatic or orthopedic specialist. Sometimes babies have a pinched nerve which causes them to have an asymmetric or crooked body position

    no idea what I'm doing but my sons leg is always hanging much lower on one side and I'm getting super frustrated as no matter how much I tighten it seems to still droop :,(

    Is this with a stretchie or woven wrap? I have a stretchie but it wasn't working. I don't know if I need to practice or if the hold won't work with a stretchie 😕

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  7 лет назад

      Khandee with a stretchy you'd need multilayered carries, I made a tutorial on the Fwcc with a stretchy too with a newborn

    • @abigelow24
      @abigelow24 6 лет назад

      Khandee I did this wrap with syretchie and woven. With a stretchie you have to wrap everything tighter so the baby stays tight against you.

    How do you get your baby into as c shape? I find in my wraps, which are stretchy, my baby is pretty straight...

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  6 лет назад

      Kat Speeckaert how old is your baby? With a stretchy wrap you'd need a carry with a least 2 spread out layers over the back for enough support and tilting the pelvis should help to get more of a c shape

    • @the_bitchy_booker7671
      @the_bitchy_booker7671 6 лет назад

      Wrapyouinlove thanks! My baby is four months now. I do the pouch with two spread layers since about two weeks, those were the instry with the wrap. I'll try tilting her pelvis, it's especially a problem with my Mei Tai hybrid stretchy wrap I find. Maybe I'm lifting her up too much....

    • @Wrapyouinlove
      @Wrapyouinlove  7 лет назад

      Hi! Most brands do ship worldwide, but if you prefer DIY there are facebook groups with lots of tips / instructions about what to look for when making a wrap yourself. Are you on Facebook?

    • @applesrennie904
      @applesrennie904 7 лет назад

      Wrapyouinlove yes I am on Facebook. I thought it would be less hassle to buy two but I have been to several stores and what they have is the actual carrier with the clips at the side not the wrap. Thanks for the quick reply.

      Didymos hat eine größenrechner da kann man die bindeweise wählen + kleidergröße und die webseite gibt dann an welche gr. du brauchen würdest.
      wenn du bei eine 6er noch viel länge übrig hast bei Wickelkreuztrage müsste eine 3 eigentlich passen :)
