I don't know how people go out and shop for fragrance. After I smell three different ones, no amount of coffee bean can bring my nose back home. My nose's ability to discern individual qualities is done for the day.
@@thewoat6589 buying samples isn't worth it to me. It adds up when you spend $100 to buy four samples at $25 a piece. Chances are, it' might not be enough juice for me to come to love and appreciate the fragrance.

I just got this today and had to rewatch it and man I got the same reactions as you. It’s just heavenly and gorgeous. Such a beautiful fragrance. Never smelled anything this beautiful. It’s sophisticated and elegant but can be worn everyday.

Just bought it... I personally get this warm, sweet, gourmand, and floral nuance with a barely perceptible tobacco note, very unisex, very delicious, recommended 10/10.
After seeing this video multiple times, I finally got my hands on a sample of it today. Not at all what I was expecting, but my scalp is tingling like crazy. Never happened before! lol. This is really something special. I get it. 😍
Its so funny that aaron says his knees are tingling. I just restarted my fragrance journey after almost a 10yr hiatus. I have had over 250+ colognes in my life...Side effect is THE FIRST fragrance to literally make my body tingle. No hyperbole

I've had a bottle of this one for about 2 years now. I fell in love with it at a shop in Budapest. Unfortunately I hardly wear it. There's something in the drydown that I don't like. It doesn't evolve much on skin either.

I’ve always called this fragrances “Sex in a bottle”.. I know you keep saying sensual but yes this is so freaking amazing it’s unreal. Herod, Side Effect, and Angels Share. It’s nothing like those 3 fragrances. Great review. 👍🏾
@@ManicMindTrick When I smelled a sample it just instantly smelled like my grandma's house (she smokes cigarettes in the house so it kinda makes sense since tobacco is a primary note in herod). Like I'm talking near identical to my grandma's house. I plan to retry with a bigger sample in hopes of my nose adjusting to the smell and finding what's so good about it. I have bottles of Absolute Aphrodisiac and Side Effect and those two INSTANTLY get me in certain moods (cuddly and sensual with AA, invigorated and ready to party with SE)
I love Initio! Side Effect is my first, Oud for Greatness is second, then comes to Psychedelic Love as third. Psychedelic Love may be a little feminine for you as it’s a floral base but this house just has brilliant creations. I love Parfum de Marly too: Herod, Pegasus, Layton etc.
Christopher Bird thanks! I tried Rehab too but just thought it perform weaker on my skin but I love the scent. As I bought many niche fragrances, I need to pick only the bests of each brand since I’m not millionaire😅. Maybe wait until I don’t find something better Rehab.

This one is excellent! It's definitely my favorite Initio! So far I own 9 from Parfums De Marly, and 3 from Initio. The two together definitely make up my favorite house! I don't know if anyone has brought it up before, but Parfums De Marly is owned by the husband, and Initio is owned by his wife. Great review as always, Aaron! I always look forward to them!

I soo knew you would love this. The cherry tobacco, vanilla and animalic musky tones are just amazing. One of my favourites period. Review Rehab and Absolute Aphrodisiac from the brand. Side Effect has similar vibes to PDM Herod, but way better. Herod has terrible performance.

For me Ive listened to them when I need to get a wise opinion on scents on my radar. But on another level I zone in to them on days when anxiety is a inner battle and its a wonderful way of clearing that. Ive even had them on in the background as Im home exercising.. I love the 'effect' this had on you. Always appreciate a little authenticity. I tested this in Harrods last year and really emjoyed it. Some women I asked to smell it on me liked it too but weren't as ecstatic. I just got ahold of the brand new Parfums de Marly fragrance and I am not kidding, it rocks my world. And I am going to do a video review of it myself as my second fragrance video on here. I'm not kidding, I think it tops everything the house has ever done, and for me, may be the sexiest fragrance I am now aware of on the planet.

What a timely review. You just popped up on my feed for the first time. I picked this up about 2 weeks ago and can't stop wearing it. It is my first purchase from the house. I planned to get Oud for Greatness but sniffed this and had to get it. I think Oud for Greatness is next though. I have quite a few on my list but I'm loving this one.Glad to have found your channel. I cliked on this video because initio has been a top 3 house for me since my journey in niche started and Side Effect has been at the top of the list. I've never had so many re requests and overall lusty compliments on a fragrance and I own some great sensual fragrances. The only one that comes close is from it's sister house PDM and that is Carlisle. Constantly looking for more bangers in that category.

Initio is one of my most coveted houses. They as well as Parfums De Marly simply do amazing scents. Please keep up doing your reviews. I am always learning from your knowledge (especially the sit down ones where you teach us regulatory items or the process of development), as well as just how you go about dissecting each new scent. It may sound cheesy, but if I own the perfume, I actually spray with you and try to smell and learn with each episode. Thank you again !!!

I’ve watched this review twice, and a few of others he has done. I think he’s great, super knowledgeable about the ingredients of fragrances (because he’s a chemist), very honest in his reviews, and is extremely emotionally connected to scents. As someone slightly into astrology, he gives me Pisces vibes.

I love the 'effect' this had on you. Always appreciate a little authenticity. I tested this in Harrods last year and really emjoyed it. Some women I asked to smell it on me liked it too but weren't as ecstatic. I just got ahold of the brand new Parfums de Marly fragrance and I am not kidding, it rocks my world. And I am going to do a video review of it myself as my second fragrance video on here. I'm not kidding, I think it tops everything the house has ever done, and for me, may be the sexiest fragrance I am now aware of on the planet.

I bought it before watching any reviews.. i sprayd all initios on paper and when i smelled side effect, i was thinking wow just wow. I did not want to buy anything, realy i didnt. I have way to many perfumes.... But i bought it, i could not resist. One if not the best perfumes i ever had imho. And i smelled a lot ;)

I’m happy I ordered my bottle yesterday. I went to Neiman Marcus and smelled it yesterday and had to order it. I definitely wasn’t paying Department Store price but still 300.00. Worth the buy!
Picked up a 10 ml sample of this, one wear and i bought a bottle. Its another fragrance that says the wearer is completely comfortable in themselves. Magic potion time this stuff
I went right out and purchased online from scentsplit a one mil sample of this. Demi Rawling has also raved about it. I love Delina (esp exclusif) so side effects might be too masculine for me but I’m intrigued. Thanks.
What a timely review. You just popped up on my feed for the first time. I picked this up about 2 weeks ago and can't stop wearing it. It is my first purchase from the house. I planned to get Oud for Greatness but sniffed this and had to get it. I think Oud for Greatness is next though. I have quite a few on my list but I'm loving this one.Glad to have found your channel. Initio’s Side Effect and Oud for Greatness… exquisite 🥰
I cliked on this video because initio has been a top 3 house for me since my journey in niche started and Side Effect has been at the top of the list. I've never had so many re requests and overall lusty compliments on a fragrance and I own some great sensual fragrances. The only one that comes close is from it's sister house PDM and that is Carlisle. Constantly looking for more bangers in that category.
My number 1 fragrance in my collection , Elysium extrait at 2 and atomic rose in at 3.

Thank you Aaron for your reviews. I have learned so much from you over time. Side Effect is one of my favorites. It is utterly beautiful and has an amazing long lasting combo of scents. Initio is one of my most coveted houses. They as well as Parfums De Marly simply do amazing scents.
Please keep up doing your reviews. I am always learning from your knowledge (especially the sit down ones where you teach us regulatory items or the process of development), as well as just how you go about dissecting each new scent. It may sound cheesy, but if I own the perfume, I actually spray with you and try to smell and learn with each episode. Thank you again !!!

I’ve watched this review twice, and a few of others he has done. I think he’s great, super knowledgeable about the ingredients of fragrances (because he’s a chemist), very honest in his reviews, and is extremely emotionally connected to scents. As someone slightly into astrology, he gives me Pisces vibes.
