The amount of passion, time, and money involved is also pretty incredible..! I wish I could witness those Halloween decors in France too!

Happy Halloween. I got married on Halloween. We used to have The best parties every Halloween. It would take my wife and I about 3 weeks to decorate the basement and yard. Tomorrow would have been our 13th anniversary. RIP Ginger. Sure do miss her.

The Christmas displays are always the best.
I enjoy watching your videos and find it fascinating that you have interest in American culture. One saying they have in Texas, is everything is bigger in Texas, so the gory house with the blood fountain kind of goes with that. Bonjour Marie! The house directly behind me does an amazing job every year. They always have a different theme. One year it involved aliens causing plane crashes, and they actually had small single engine planes and airplane fuselages strewn about. One year they did a psycho carnival theme, and had actual rides like merry go rounds and mini roller coasters (all full of ghouls and skeletons, etc.) There also is an entire street about a hour drive away where everyone on the street does their house up, it's called Terror On Tillson Street. Hello Marie, we decorate for every holiday, mainly inflatables. I used to make some of my decorations. But now just use premade ones. My daughter's used to be involved with decorations. But, now that they are married, they decorate their own house.

That was amazing because the first video was about 5 miles from where I grew up and our local tv station covering it. I hope someday you can come and enjoy Halloween over here. I'm in Florida now and our weather is beautiful. Stay well and be safe.
The house decorations are great as are the live action haunted places places you could go to. My dad would hook up eerie sounds when people came to the House decades ago.

Bonne Nuit Marie! There is a channel on here where every year they post what they did to their house using house mapping software and projections. If you lookup Halloween House Projection 2020 it's the one that is just over 6 minutes long. The projection tells a story (as told by Skeletons.) It's impressive. Joyeux Halloween! ~Be Blessed

A lot of people buy or make a little bit every year and just add on. Most cant afford like that. I used to hide in the bushes with my duck call. I'd make a terrible noise and shake the bushes! Haha. Had to wait until the kids were leaving or they took off running without their candy!
Suggestion ... If you do this type of video for Christmas take a look at a show called "The Great Christmas Light Fight". They do it every year here in the States.
The one house in the video you showed from Rahway, New Jersey, is only about a half hour north of where I live. I’m not a fan of the real gory approach though. The one near Dallas, Texas was too over the top for me. Hope the kids enjoy the trick or treating and the candy. Happy Halloween to all!

We have people that spend more than that on drugs and alcohol so it's nice to see somebody spending it on something harmless and fun.
Very nice video. I'm from New York and people here also do elaborate decorations in front of their homes for Halloween. The caretakers usually have some sort of collection box with a sign with a horror display asking for people to voluntarily donate money to pay for the electricity, props, etc. Many people generously donate without hesitation because the displays are so memorable and people wish to continue seeing them throughout the years. There are also those who do the same for Christmastime. 🎃🐱🕸🕷👀

Halloween is a big holiday here in New England You could visit Salem Ma. A very old gothic city full of Bewitching history it is known as Witch city, Another fun American tradition is watching Classic Monster Movies, Universal Classic Monsters are the best, Frankenstein, The Wolfman, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, Dracula and The Creature From The Black Lagoon enjoy!

Not many people here decorating for Halloween. I guess the Covid has put a damper on it. Several stores downtown have their Christmas decorations up though. They started putting them up a few weeks abo.
Hi Marie, nice nails! Not a fan of the really gory ones, yuck, but some people are very creative. Halloween isn’t quite as big a deal in the UK as it is in the US, but there are parties and trick-or-treaters. Happy Halloween!

It's Amazing the ingenuity of people when there passion is set alight,you have to be a real horror fanatic to enjoy some of those displays , I'm not into all that blood & gore either thankfully I didn't see any children around, but I can appreciate the craftsmanship that's involved,the moving boris spider 🕷️(a who song) was one of my favourites. It does look more then just a few days of thill's for them and more like a obessen , if you can turn it into business then good luck to you. Has everyone like me been watching the neighborhood displays around new York , and the one from action kid in bewiched Salem ,those holographic projections are getting better every year.

I have growing up in a haunted house where shadows and window tapping were common place , my mom had a exordinary encounter with a floating ghost as a teenager just like that library scene from Ghostbusters but without the horror,a once in a lifetime event that as vived to her today as it was back then in the 60's.
If everyone else has a ghost story then why not share with the world 👀✍️👻

Rut Ro....Judging by Marie's Expression in the Thumbnail....This Will Be SPOOKTACULAR! I personally always loved seeing Houses that Went above and beyond in the Fright Department during Halloween! I believe it is so much harder to create that Scary Experience compared to Christmas being all about lights and rhyming music. The Gorier The Better! My Hat Off to those who painstakingly create a Horror Of Happiness for Us Goblins! As a kid we had one house where the guy kept a wheel barrel of Sawdust handy in case someone that got too scared and "Refunded" their already eaten Candy!😂 The TRICK was finding you Marie...The TREAT is Subscribing! Now watch some Christmas home light displays which are set to music.
Gory yard art on one? . . way too extreme, however rest within community "fun" standards. There are also theme parks like 6 Flags where decorations are put up. So much candy with my kids growing up we would freeze most and leave a little for treats. Way too much sugar.
