What's great is that they use the radio to broadcast the music so the music doesn't disturb the neighborhood. Usually has a sign somewhere on the property that says tune into a station to listen to it. Same thing with Christmas lighting. Some people will have their lighting synced to music on the radio. They can even have their own radio station and pick the music.
You need to watch one at Christmas that goes through The Grinch That Stole Christmas. It is very cool. RUclips keeps removing the link to the one I am referring to. The lights frame the house perfectly and makes the house look like the book.
He does change some things out. For example the pumpkins are replaced with singing Christmas trees and the arrangement of where everything is at is altered. Also there are other effects that are added such as an illuminated LED Christmas tree.
There are places in the US where every house on an entire street is lighted and they're all connected to one central computer system that controls the lights and music. Neighborhood Synchronized Christmas Lights Show in Yucaipa California
The Fire is actually Laser Pyrotechnics! US law in most municipalities discourages the use of any actual use of a real fire near a wood source such as a residential house…
This is common across the US. Homeowners plan a year in advance. After Halloween, the Christmas displays are installed. You can walk from house to house to watch all the decorations. I believe there is a cut-off time for most neighborhoods. The music and light displays have to be turned off by 11pm or midnight. Usually neighbors meet and agree on a schedule to avoid disturbing others households.
Yup it’s a fun time of the year starting up where you can drive around to check out all the seasonal lights and to see what neighborhoods have changed their lighting decorations from year to year. If you’re into spending some money on decorating you home then there’s companies that sell decorating packages and also will install them on your home if you want. This business of computerized LED lighting decorations are becoming more and more popular every year. There’s so many to choose between for all different occasions. You can find a lot of different videos on RUclips that people post of their homes. Some spend a lot of money on decorating and some not so much. I love them and the fact that most of them you can just tune in your car radio to a curtain frequency to hear the music as you drive around looking at the neighbors holiday lights is kinda nice . Keep up the entertaining videos guys they help me get through the day smiling.
I have a large city park across the street from my apartment building. Every year the Zoo in the Park hosts the annual Jack O' Lantern Spectacular with more than 5,000 intricately carved, and lighted pumpkins [some weighing over 500 kg]. It is the largest display in New England and is now being duplicated in other US cities.
tghe music plays thru the speakers in your car.... you dial your radio to an FM channel and you listen to the song and see the light show usually these are like timed events so like every 15 mins they do a show and then usually stop by 9 or 10pm
Alot of houses that do this brodcAst the music on an AM station so when you do car rides to look at the lights they will have a sign to tune into the station and the song would match with the lights ect. so the music isnt actually blaring
They probably leave the light system up for Christmas. They system can cost upwards of 40 grand. What they do is the whole show is plugged into a computer program and it is synced generally to a specific radio station. When people drive up to the house, you are told what station to go to on your car stereo and it will play in your car. You generally see this at Christmas and this is the first time I have seen a Halloween program. Fun for sure!
Actually those are show pyro throwers. They burn bright for a second or two but are harmless. They aren’t that hot. You can put your hands directly in the flame and not get burned. It’s a chemical that creates the red orange color. Chemicals burn different colors.
My sister's neighborhood does this and they have a donation mailbox that you can donate to a certain charity like the local children's hospital or local food pantry. Last year 70 houses participated with this and they raised 12,000 dollars they did it for Halloween and Christmas and gave the money to the local hospital to buy toys for the children who were in the hospital over the holidays. Also bought books and art supplies for the children as well.
There are whole neighborhoods that go all in and especially since Halloween Thanksgiving and Christmas are all right back to back so a lot of the lights that you’re seeing in these videos and the way they do stuff can be set up once and use for all three holidays. They just have to change the decorations in the scheme a little bit.
If you want to spend $10k or more you can use a DMX system it’s the same system that they use for theatrical plays like Broadway, which basically controls all the lighting systems through the music brings the lights up dim them but yes they definitely spent a lot of money on that light show
That guy's name is Tom BetGeorge, and he has been doing a Halloween and Christmas light show for 10+ years now. He lives here in California and every year all tickets sold to watch the shows go to charity. He is an electrical engineer, so him and some friends do this to his house every year with a different show. 2 years ago, he had about 500 drones in the sky.
There are quite a few competitions in the states for decorations. Halloween and Christmas are the biggest ones. But this guy has more vids and the Christmas ones are just as good! Stay safe!
The Christmas ones are far more popular. Love driving to one and seeing it an then driving around the really lit up neighborhoods with Christmas music playing in the car.
ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, just watched it and came here to say that same thing (loved that the "Thriller" part included voice of Vincent Price, too many times it's cut out when played! 😡)
@@tinahairston6383 exactly, it adds a great slant to the song, and besides, what's the purpose of cutting it out, it was apparently recorded for a reason! 😡😐🎃
@@tinahairston6383 Did they cut it in the long video because the short one had his monologue in? If he cut it afterward, they must have gotten a copy right strike for it.
Soooo cool, they also have one where three pumpkins are singing but before this they're having a conversation. One you'll definitely want to see. Love From Michigan and it's a beautiful evening ❤❤
You guys should check out videos from The Great Halloween Fright Fight and The Great Christmas Light Fight shows here in the United States, they are incredible. 🤙✌️
It’s all programmed with software, and I’m sure there are some programs that you may be able to get online that have some basics set up already, but the really good ones are very personalized by some super programmers who really know what they’re doing. Please watch more, and from other channels, too. Then you can do it again for the christmas ones!
Im with you, Jono on taking them down. So, one year for Halloween I put up all Christmas lights then, made everything spooky. After Halloween i took just the spooky stuff down and BAM! I was ready for Christmas.
I think this would be even better if somewhere like Spis castle or one of the several castles you have there in Slovakia were to do this. They could probably sell tickets and make some cash to keep upkeep on those amazing ruins and castle grounds. Plus it would be spookier being in a place that has been around 700 plus years.😊
There are companies that you can hire to decorate your house with all the lights & everything, including the computer programming to operate the lights. You can get it done any holiday & they will come back & remove everything when it's over.
The other pumpkins sing with other songs. He made five different songs this year. The music doesn't start until it's triggered by a vehicle with the radio tuned to their channel I believe. At least that's how the ones near me have worked. There's a sign somewhere that says what frequency to turn your radio to, so neighbors don't hear the music. The neighbors will often have their own house set up; some neighborhoods have competitions on who has the best decorated house.
😊 should check out the AC/DC one all three pumpkins sing along with Twiggy the tree next to the garage door, he is kind of hard to see. Peace from Central Texas to Central Europe.
Tom does incredible holiday light shows. I’ve been watching him for a few years now. Please keep watching his videos. Here’s his full show from this year.
About Halloween; I recently created my first compilation of Halloween style sound effects, audio cues and cinematic tools for everyone to use in their videos, Tik Toks etc. I'd love some feedback how useful it really is for content creators.
I am so glad to check back in with you guys and see your Wife has really kept joining in, that is awesome. If you guys ever do get around to the US, while there is nothing but corn here in Indiana, I'l take you guys out of a dinner..LOL, please be safe I know the girls were still wanting to see New York. While the US is a very safe pl;ace, nowhere near what people make it out to be, the Liberal Cities are not as safe as other places.
I'm pretty sure that TomBetGeorge keeps the lights up all year. He uses his house as a production demo house for the lights and effects company that was born from his channel. He started out in a regular neighborhood before moving to the country.
The company that set this up did a five-song set in a separate video, ruclips.net/video/QYxJ7swX4lg/видео.html "Thunderstruck". "Harder to Breathe", Somebody's Watching Me", "Gungnam Style", and of course, "Thriller"
There's a really good chance this was installed by a professional lighting company and the people that live there paid good money to get it put up. My brother makes bank doing it during Christmas and he doesn't go anywhere near this big.
Theres another one the house is in new Orleans in Louisiana. Its awesome not sure whose video it us but ive seen a few reactors watch it . Its much better i think.
I've been watching some of your videos. I finally subscribed to your channel. I love listening to your family and your stories. I live in the USA. I don't think it's real fire.... ( I could be wrong though). But if you shine a certain light through a fog machine, you'll get the same effect. I don't think it would be legal if it was real. A kid could come up to it and get burned and you'll be in big trouble.

They don't "take down" the lights after Halloween. After Thanksgiving, the same computer system runs a program for a Christmas Lights display.
