You missed a huge blockbuster trade that worked out. In Nov 2020 Bucks trade 4 First round picks for Jrue Holiday. Pelicans get Bucks 2024, 2025, 2026 and 2027 first round picks for Jrue. Bucks won a Championship the first year playing with Jrue and this year Jrue made his first Allstar game in 10 years and are currently on a 16 game win streak and hold best record in NBA in 2023.
A follow up video is definitely needed after some more insane trades. If anyone missed out, there's a quick summary of the biggest trades. Nets blew up their roster big time Kyrie joined the Mavs for one 1st round pick plus Dinwiddie and Finney-Smith. Durant went to the Suns for yes 5 1st round picks in an insane 4 team trade (3 unprotected and 2 swaps) plus Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson. Lakers got rid of Westbrook in a 3 team trade exchange ironically with the Jazz & Timberwolves. Westbrook later joined the Clippers after Utah brought out his contract. Lakers got solid players who can push them up to the play-in spots. Utah have a unprotected 1st round pick plus their cap space is looking nice too and T-Wolves got Mike Conley.
He missed another huge trade Pelicans made. In Nov 2020 Pels traded Jrue Holiday to Bucks for 4 First round picks. Most people said Bucks overpayed for Jrue at the time but since have won a Chip then Jrue made the Allstar Team and Wolvs traded essentially 5 first rounders for Rudy.
I'm not even really a basketball fan but I subbed because you deserve to have so many more. Great, great stuff. I'm looking forward to learning more about the NBA from you.
And i thought i was alone in this thinking. Personlly, i believe Kawhi winning in Toronto being the catalyst of this.
Another fine video. This channel deserves 100k subs

Great job breaking this down, T. This is complicated, and you explain it well.
Also, I hope Isaiah Thomas is MH#3.

@@Wallyworld30Yh I didn't know about this trade. The picks aren't valuable unless the Bucks struggle with injuries so it was definitely worth it.
Actually he did mention the two trades at the end of the video
