Times to explore all the water rides at Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure. Sure Universal Studios Florida has a great water park in Volcano Bay, but what it you're in the theme parks and want to do the water rides. Today we go on all the water rides at islands of adventure and we visit the water area of Universal Studios. Rides like Ripsaw Falls, Popeye's and Bluto's Bilge Rat Barges, the Jurassic Park River adventure. Let's go get wet!

i-
I usually go from least wetness to most wetness. JPRA 1st (with my bag) then I put my bag in a locker so I can do Ripsaw 2nd and, while I still have time on the locker, I go to PopEyes 3rd. Oh and I bring an extra pair of dry clothes to change into after I’m done with water rides, and I bring a pair of flip flops to change to wear so my walking shoes aren’t to wet.
As for the battle between PopEyes and Kali why not add Infinity Falls from Seaworld and make it a three way battle.

River adventure is my favorite ride
I was at IOA and US today! It rained on us for the better part of the day! But we threw on ponchos and kept going. We did rip saw falls and the ride broke down half way through our ride so we had to be escorted down. The Popeye ride we rode multiple times because we were having so much fun!
I didn't plan on it, but when i went there two weeks ago i rode the ripsaw falls 13 times just because my dad wanted to ride the hulk roller coaster 3 times and i would NOT join him. So i just kept riding over and over.

The running joke with me and my friends is that every ride is a water ride at Universal...you get sprayed in so many rides!!!! 😂 Awesome video Ric!✨
Dudley’s water ride was no joke. You get SOAKED. There’s no avoiding it lol
My poor mother was coaxed into going on it with me just because I felt like checking it out. Even with flip flops, shorts, and ponchos, we got wrecked. I got yelled at several times during that ride lol!! Made for a great memory though.

My sister tricked me into riding the Jurassic park ride. And I don’t like big big BIG drops and when I saw the ginormous hill I was like let me off let me off!
Great and fun video!! Might have already mentioned shoe and lap strategy... Carry 3 one-gallon baggies. Tear and unfold one of them open onto lap, and put your feet into the other two. You avoid that irritating waterlogged feet feeling all day.

Great video Rick. I was there yesterday and can confirm on my Jp River Adventure and walked off pretty dry from the 4th row. Was a nice day there until about 1:15 until it started to rain. Good luck this week with the move and closing.

We loved the water rides!! Did all 3 in IOA, then repeat of Bluto’s one day and we’re drenched! So much fun!! We were staying at Royal Pacific, so we could just take a midday break to change into dry clothes. Can’t wait for the versus vlogs!

On my water day I always bring another set of clothes in a book bag. Ride all my water rides and if I don’t dry fast I change. And the people dryer is only for really thin items it’s not going dry your pants and shoes out.

Excellent advice on the clothes to wear for the water rides. Something we have been doing for several years. Quite often I will use the free water cannons, I call it ride enhancement. Looking forward to the versus videos.

Camp Jurassic has the most awesome water guns. My boys usually hit that after the water rides. We do most wet to least wet... and when people in other rows on Jurassic River Adventure see how wet we are we tell them we were in their row last time. 😁
Ripsaw vs Splash is going to be tough to decide. Both are great, Ripsaw is more fun but Splash is just a classic.

Rick, The same thing happened to me on the Bluto's Barge. Except I was wearing a plastic poncho which I bought for $1.50 at Home Depot. So really, only my shoes got soaked. Fun ride though.

Thank you Rik. I so enjoy your videos. Planning for Universal Studios, etc. next spring (2020) late April or early May. Trying to decide when crowds are lowest. Trying to decide Cabana Bay or Hard Rock Hotel. Suggestions?
Hard Rock hotel is my personal preference, but cabana is cool too, it really depends on which Park you will be spending most of your time in.
Hard Rock is my favourite and you get the bonus of express pass as well. Not stayed at Cabana Bay, is on my list of hotels to stay at.
Yea Hard rock for sure is what I would choose, the cabana is nice but you get the express pass include @ Hard Rock,. albeit the price is much more for hard rock but definitely worth it.
Are we allowed to have our stuff in the rides or do we have to get a locker? I know for HULK we are not allowed to brining anything to the ride.
