Whenever I know I am going to ride water rides, I always pack a pair of flip flops to change into for the water rides and pack my sneakers and socks in a dry bag. Especially for Popeye and Ripsaw. Not having to walk around with wet shoes and socks all day is a major bonus.
Watched a Theme Park History channel episode on Rip Saw. The original idea was side by side logs through most of ride. At top of drop, the two sides get "sawed" in half to go down each side. I guess a giant fake saw that was 6 inches from riders was a little too edgy!
I have been really appreciating the universal videos! As much as i love disney, universal studios and Islands seems to be the superior parks and i really want to visit in 2023!
Last 2 times I've been to universal I have followed your rikomendation of hitting up the water rides as many times as I can first thing in the morning then going back to my hotel and showering and changing before heading back into the parks...will do ot again when I visit in may

Hi Rick, It would be awesome if you did a review of ripsaw falls with lots of the show effects back in show. also watch the TNT shack it has multiple que's and the spinning smoke stack is back. :)

One fish two fish is definitely a water ride. I love taking the kids on that one.

We did Popeyes last November, 12 times in a row!!! There was no line and they just let us stay on. So much fun!!
