    Van Ness really reminds me of Bill Zadick. Body type, stance, everything. Just a really solid, compact, fundametal kind of style

      If you freeze it at 6:42 you can see Van Ness's overhook and how he's stepping his right leg around Parco's left (still on knee). Then he clung and hanged on him.
      Great body awareness and big balls to go throwing with Parco who loves throws.

    I wrestled in the seventies and eighties in college and I once meant the national champ at 142 Dan hicks from Oregon state and I was at his house and on wide world of sports they gave him a whole 8 seconds of his match against Andy rein from Wisconsin who later was second in the Olympics it’s ridiculous the media exposure these college wrestlers get now and trust me college wrestling was 100 times tougher than it is now there were literally thousands of programs and to make a point so tough John Peterson got 5th in the niaa and later won a gold medal in th3 Olympics
