- Here are a few really nice log cabins made with log dovetail jigs. The jigs make it very easy to cut dovetail notches for building log cabins. This type of log cabin notch is very traditional and is found all over the US and in Europe. My website, logdovetailjig.com has a ton of info on building log cabins and many photos of log cabins built using the log dovetail jigs.
Two of the cabins in this video are sauna cabins. These small cabins are a great escape from the busy world and can easily be built in your backyard.
You can order custom plans for your log dovetail jigs on my website below. You tell me what size log you are using (widthxheight), and the amount of gap you want between the logs and I will design your custom jigs. The cost of the plans is very low and I offer a refund if you send me pictures of your cabin. You can even build with logs that have variable height such as with reclaimed hand hewn logs.

Home ownership is the cornerstone to many different levels freedom. Unfortunately, far to many have allowed themselves to be brainwashed to think it completely impossible. Current Social & economics are adding the impossibility. property owners, educate yourselves on adverse possession and property deed hijacking. Many individuals are being educated and encouraged of the “how to” use the courts to take what yours and make it there own.

They did a great job on their cabins. I really like the Mashburn cabin too. It is a 16x16 cabin with an 8x12 kitchen on the back. Logs are southern yellow pine.
