Great stuff Steve, looking forward to Moorcock interview . Happily and much to my surprise, I picked up 4 Moorcock hardcovers in Bordeaux today. The Elric Saga, Parts I, II and III, and Corum: The Coming Of Chaos.
Keep up the sterling work, I shall become a member as soon as my budget allows.
Finally I believe that silver sphere in the video was the Paris 2024 Olympic torch ✌

Hi Stephen. Nice to see Michael Moorcock looking so well. Would have loved to see more of him. As one of my greatest literary heroes along with Harlan Ellison it's always been a big regret that I was once standing three feet from him but never got the chance to have a word.
Anyway I've never been to Paris but I have now. Nice one mate 👍👍

I haven't read any of Moorcock's sword & sorcery or SF, really. I've read one Jerry Cornelius and a number of the Colonel Pyat novels and some London-themed short stories, as well as a book whose title escapes me set in the court of Elizabeth I. My favourite work of his is Mother London (and its sequel King of the City) - an outstanding novel which I re-read every decade. Looking forward very much to the interview. I'll try and watch more Moorcock videos from your archive before then. I like some jazz-inflected electronic avant-rock - still miss Tortoise, so looking fwd to Big Tusk, as well.

The Big Tusk vid will be up tonight. You'll love it. The first of three bookshop events I set up and ran for Mike was for 'Mother London' in hardcover back in 87/88. We had a big queue and sold 120 books, including at least 50 of the hardcover, great days. Hope to have the interview up on Thursday night.

A great video, Steve! A pub crawl with live music and good beer is my idea of heaven. I've been lucky enough to do it in many cities, Granada in Spain is a standout because of the beer and tapas tradition, but I've never done it in Paris.

It is illegal to bring meat products into the EU from the UK according to all the sources I checked. It's difficult to find out exact details around personal use and packaging, however. Next Paris Vlog will be a member exclusive, then there'll be another open access one in around a week, maybe earlier.
