I love all the beautiful stonework and different colours of light that is reflected from the daylight sun Also all the beautiful plants and flowers that adorn the different houses outside walls as you walk through the village . The furniture is beautiful! I live in the Caribbean and because of our history of European colonization, we have furniture that is exactly the same as the pieces you showed from the flea market, the upholstery also. I especially loved the brass pieces, I saw some gorgeous pieces to decorate a kitchen, if I had one of my own. Thank you for showing. Love from T&T!

I'm thinking you should hire a small van from Super U or somewhere for the day when you are going back as you might end up buying more than one piece of furniture. Aselya - that's an excellent table (especially for only 30 euros - hope you got it for 25!). The 'marqueterie' inlaid top with the violin is very pretty, but has been faded in the sun, and the wood has dried out. May I suggest that, after gently washing it, you apply just 'cire d'abeille' - it will soak in and feed the wood, bringing back some of the original colour. Let it dry overnight; and then shine it with a soft cloth. Mx

I cook my fruit (when it goes soft or when I have a lot) with a little bit of castor sugar, lemon juice and vanilla (or honey instead of the sugar) - cook it over very low temperature until it is a little softer and some juices are released - let it cool off and store it in freezer bags in the freezer. Very good for toppings over ice cream, waffles or use it in smoothies.

Another lovely peaceful video, the last part was especially nice where you just sat and talked with us , there is a term in English called TLC, which means tender loving care, so if you see something in a flea market that looks nice but needs a little help you can say that all it needs is a little TLC ! 🌷
Good to know that if I move to France to retire, I don't need to worry about spending a lot of money on furnitures and decorative things. :) BTW, you son is such a cutie and a trouper to go shopping with you. Most boys would be so bored.
