It took me 7 years to get peripheral artery disease a blockage in my artery to my leg to be taken care of. They always wanted to put a bandaid on it. If you had or had it you know how painful it is.....7 years!
Having a service-related disability means a higher priority group, but it doesn't prevent you from enrolling. Not having one means you will have a low priority group.
I served during the Vietnam war and when I got out in 73 I was able to go to the VA and I continued to go until 1980 after 1980 I had a job with good insurance so I didn't feel the need to use the VA. After I retired I wanted to use the VA again and was denied because of income threshold. I recently applied for service connected injuries I received during my service and won so I am again eligible to go to the VA. My question is when did the rules change from 1973?
On 1974 Vietnam War era, I was honorable discharge from active duty earlier do to a service connection injury. I received VA healthcare but after making claims All my life, I was never granted any compensation or ratings until 2021 when they granted me a 30% for right knee. Can I claim back payment for all those years that I was denied?
VA's geographically-adjusted income limit , priority group 5 , I would like to access ROTH IRA funds however VA counts that as additional income . Can this be waived
If I walk into a vha facilty with 0% renal calculi, 0% bilatertal hearing loss and 10% Tintinius. What priority group am I in and what differance does priority group mean to some of the hight pri groups

You stated that you could be eligible for priority group five, if you qualify for Medicare. This is incorrect. You can be eligible for priority group five if you qualify for Medicaid, which is a very different thing.
Not one of your better videos. Anyone can read, like you all did, right off the VA website. Also, there are questions below and you answered NONE of them.
My discharge just got upgraded from OTH to General. When I apply for Health benefits they deny saying my character of discharge disqualify me. I sent in supplemental claim along with new dd214 showing upgraded General still denied.
Bs! I get va health care and only served 10 months. And am only 10% service connected for tinnitus. So please explain? Does active duty war time ribbon have anything to do with why I was given Healthcare?

You should be eligible for healthcare. Appeal the decision.
Bless you
Can your Priority group be down graded?
Yes, if your service connection is lowered you can be downgraded.

VA has been nothing but a joke getting anything done is a long and complicated process. Not right.
