I am writing you from Porto, Portugal to let you know you are a daily inspiration for me. My interest in cuisine began late in my forties but since I discovered it had a scientific approach that you make each time simple and easy, I cook with pleasure to my family and friends. Thank you and have a wonderful year
I like my Brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar, too. I also like to add garlic and butter. Other brassicas work with this combo as well, like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and even kohlrabi.
@@EntertainingWithBeth Well, in fact I've never tried that with the "Chinese" family members like choy sum, pak choi and napa cabbage, but you know what? I now think it might work. I'll give it a try.
Totally right about the Brussels. My grandmother microwaved them in water the other day. I tasted them and almost got sick. But I didn’t want to hurt her feelings so I just covered them in salt and that helped a bit. But I certainly don’t ever plan on eating them like that again. She means well though. Lol. Her meatballs are bomb though.
Happy New Year!!! I too got an air fryer...but a different kind. Thanks for the video & the tips about the oil and the garlic. Everything looks great!!
Yum, these look inviting. I must make them for my grandson when he visits. He's always hungry!!! I know he will enjoy them. Will be a change from the potato wedges I always make. I need more imagination. haha
I just added some ingredients to my grocery list for this next week. Both chicken recipes you paired with the Brussels Sprouts recipe in the description box are on my menu for next week now, too! That’s so helpful! Happy New Year!
Beautiful video Beth! Again, your editing just keeps getting better and better. Good for you! It's time consuming I know, but soon it will be second hand, you'll see.😉 I don't have the space for an air fryer anymore, but these recipes look like they'll adapt beautifully to my convection toaster oven. So I'm going to give that a try. Merry New Year to you and yours!✌🏻💜
LOL! Aww thanks! I'm trying! Yes it's a bit time consuming with the kids underfoot but hopefully when they are able to get back to school in the fall, it will be WAY easier! Ha! And yes you could absolutely try these in your toaster oven too! :) Hope you enjoy!
These look fantastic! I always love side dish recipes, and I feel like the first one is almost an adult version of baby carrots and ranch haha. Also the video quality and editing look so good!
Loved all of these recipes. However, I disagree with you on one thing - boiled brussels sprouts are just fine! LOL I'm not trying to be nasty - it's just that brussels sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables so, I'll eat them any way! But that's me and I might be a bit weird! LOL. Love the addition of the cranberries and walnuts though. I'm definitely going to try all of these! 😋😋😊
LOL! No offense taken, you do you! Ha! Boil away LOL! But yes the addition of the cranberries and walnuts is a great addition and you can even sprinkle a little blue cheese on top for a salty bit of decadence too! Hope you enjoy! :)
Thanks for sharing these recipes, Beth. Good thing I purchased a bunch of Brussel sprouts and broccoli this week (already have carrots in the fridge). Would love to know what you do with cauliflower, beets, and sweet tomato in the airfryer.
Oh yes Cauliflower is so good! Here's the recipe! entertainingwithbeth.com/air-fryer-cauliflower-recipe/ I haven't done beets or sweet potato yet, but keep you posted!!
Happy New Year Beth! I'll be handed down an airfryer from a friend. Can't wait to try these recipes. And garam masal. OMG. When I start running out I get palpitations. Ha ha 😂. BTW. I shared my Christmas 2020 story with you. With some pictures. Bouche de noel was taken care of well 😉 Thank you so much Beth !! 😊😊
Hi Beth. I was wondering.. I can't use pepper in my food. Allergies 😞😟 If I use a seasoning in my vegetables will it burn? What I use is a seasoning that has garlic, salt, parsley, onion, etc. Thanks for your suggestion on the Air fryer.
Ha! They do! I started doing that years ago to get my kids to eat it and now if I don't put it on they are like "Where's the Toasted Sesame Oil?!" It's become the new ketchup! LOL!
I’m pretty sure most of these recipes will still work with the oven! The air fryer uses just hot air to cook the vegetables, so it’s not going to be like deep-fried in a pot of oil; from the looks of it, the vegetables look nicely roasted.
That garam masala is extremely dark. Garam masala is not usually that dark...must have been too much of coriander seeds. Or the spices are roasted so much they got burnt (which means its bad) Pls make ur own garam masala blend with some YT references. Freshly made garam masala...nothing can beat it ^^. Each Indian household make our own spice blends and ground spices ^^.
Yay I love your recipes and extra yay for air fryer recipes😊😊😊
YAY! So Glad you like them!
Wow! Really nice twist on the sprouts and the broccoli. I will prepare these recipes this week. Thank you.
Hope you enjoy them! So easy and tasty too!
Very good. No fluff. Spot on. 👍
I made the broccoli for dinner tonight in the air fryer. Oh man, so delicious and crunchy! Thank you!
I'm so glad it was a hit! YAY! :)

Can’t wait to make these. 😋
Those little pre-bagged carrot are sooo cute I’ve never seen them in any store around me before
They are! I get them at Gelson's in Los Angeles, but I've also seen them at Trader Joe's too, if you are U.S-Based :)
What a great way to eat vegetables!!!
They all came out very well, definitely starting to consider buying one ;)

You are so welcome! Yes each model works a bit differently so you may need to play around with the temp and timing on your model! Hope you enjoy!
Happy New Year Beth, lovely video thank you for sharing. I use my air fryer almost daily x
Happy new year to you too! I know I do too! I find they are so handy! :)
The carrots look yummy and pretty too. Love garam masala so that’s got to be a good combo. Might have to get an air fryer now.
Oh it is! Carrots + Garam Masala=DELICIOUS! :)

Same to you! YAY 2021!!
Ah! Those Brussels sprouts!!! Now I have to buy an air fryer. 🤣
They are definitely handy! :) I LOVE mine!
I got mine on Amazon. It was less than $100
I bought an air fryer for brussel sprouts alone!!
Oo
Looks like I need to order 2 wow. One for veggies and one for the chicken tenders. What size is yours?

Is an air fryer a posh version of a turbo broiler?
Hi Beth. I was wondering.. I can't use pepper in my food. Allergies 😞😟 If I use a seasoning in my vegetables will it burn? What I use is a seasoning that has garlic, salt, parsley, onion, etc. Thanks for your suggestion on the Air fryer.
Whoever disliked this video is clearly not watching the same video as me.
Sadly, some people have only negativity to contribute. We can pity them. 😉
Right? I was thinking the same!
Beth you are a GEM!!! A true domestic goddess ❤️
if no airfryrr canbe im oven ?

Ooooh I thought I was the only one who did sesame oil in my broccoli. Great minds think alike.
Ha! They do! I started doing that years ago to get my kids to eat it and now if I don't put it on they are like "Where's the Toasted Sesame Oil?!" It's become the new ketchup! LOL!
@Entertaining With Beth , you know almost everyone already has an oven. I, personally, would prefer roasted to fried.
Don’t knock it until you try it! It’s delicious! PS everyone I know has a Air Fryer or access to one.😉
@@onteaya , what makes you think that I haven't tried it? When I said I prefer roasted to fried?

Add Chaat Masala instead of Garam Masala ... the veggies will be AMAZING!!
Oh I'll have to look for that! :) How does it differ? Sweeter, more savory? :)
What else can I use instead of garam masala? I don’t have it at home
I don't want to b negative here, but the veggies look a little dryed out. I been looking for air fry recipes. Thanks for sharing. Have a happy new yr.
Ha! I knda like them that way, but you could absolutely fry them at a lower temp, for less time and add a bit more oil :)
