I love the effect of the charcoal and watercolour together , blurring and blending the edges and outlines, and adding depth to the subject. Not something I have tried before but I will now! Thank you for your time in sharing your skill and beautiful paintings. I’m very glad I found your channel!

Thank you Wendy! I do like the charcoal very much. The sketchy rough texture and dark tone of it really complements the lighter watercolours. I must have a go at using charcoal with watercolour. 🙂

Wendy, I love your style! I watched half of the video and couldn't wait for the end so I cheated! I LOVE your finished piece! Now I have to watch the video again, not that I mind. Thank you so much for your wonderful demonstrations!!

Hi Wendy your loose free style is so pleasant to look at. What brush size did you use for the leaves? Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺 😊

Does the charcoal not run, the dust I mean, in washes? Wonderful work!

It is a pencil so not as soft as a charcoal stick. Yes it does run abit into the paint and can get too dark if you use the pencil in wet areas. I like it to run a bit ….it changes the paint colour and can subdue areas……matter of preference. Experiment and see if you like it 😀👍
