Get n' Dirty's track creator is actually a reskinned variant of a minigame from a lost MMO called Planet Hotwheels. Much of the MMO's core content was built on this engine, including its promotional Highway 35 material and I distinctly remember booting the game up when the MMO shut down when I was especially little.
5:55 I remember playing this game alot as a kid. These sounds were so nostalgic And the music I remember being jealous of the kid and also getting upset when he broke the tv
Stunt Track Challenge will forever be the peak of Hot Wheels videogames for me. I spent countless hours on this thing growing up and I still kinda love it. That music and wacky track design are dope af.

I still own all my hot wheels cd games and they were really fun for an idiot kid like me. There was even a stage editor for some reason. I don’t even think you could share levels but I used to make a track that was just loops. I might make a video one day of my nostalgia with the game.
The hot wheels games I remember, were the weird web games. Like the Formula Fuelers Racers and Dummy Dash and Rev Ups...the Rev Ups song still randomly pops up into my head...
Hoo boy, I remember playing Stunt Track Driver on an official Hot Wheels PC with Windows 98 back in the early 2000s. Too bad it stopped in 2004, I went to play some SEGA Smash Pack 2 one day. May have been the power supply but neither me or my grandparents were computer savvy then, so it ended up in the trash. Fortunately Stunt Track Driver can still run on modern systems with a fix or too. I revisited it last year and unlocked everything.. the last levels had pretty tight time limits.
Wow! and today I just learned I actually played Hot Wheels stunt track driver 2 :D It felt like a fever dream of a game of what my memory tells me so thanks Peter!
Good job Peter, you just made me do a spit take @4:52 . Just had a sip of water, and was thinking something similar with that weird angle. Now my pants are wet, thank you for that.
Stunt track driver!!!! Oh man!! I had a hot wheels sampler disc that had some downhill crash simulator. Like the burnout crash events but weirdly realistic Lol it was crash!!! Thank you Peter!!!
oh my god peter literally just reintroduced me to a hotwheels game that was my childhood but i could not remember for the life of me what was it called
dude i have these incredibly faint memories of some kind of construction game, looked like something from the early 2000s maybe late 90s it was a top down isometric thingy and i remember there was a section where you could do mining and there was also a section with like some kind of building editor. i dont remember what its called for the life of me since i was like 4 or 5 but god if i ever find the game again im gonna weep tears of joy
I love old Hot Wheels games, played on PC a billion, on their website, on Nintendo DSi... It was so epic. Recently I played the newest hot wheels on Xbox and it was still super fun 😭❤️ Even thr Forza DLC is superb. I love Hot Wheels and K still have a shit ton of hot wheels in the basement.
Stunt Track Driver!!! Holy shit memory unlocked. I had a demo disc that had this game and I spent hours on just the demo. Never got the full game tho lol I was hoping you would cover Micro Racers and Mechanix as well. They were the shizznit 😩👌🏽

Oh my god, I remember playing stunt track driver in preschool. I don't even know how I remember that, but it was on a really crappy yellow dell computer and I would hog the computer for like an hour. Good times.

there's something truly remarkable about a computer window called "Crash.exe" popping up during a game crash

Peter On A 2000's PC Game streak right now
Fuck yeah, late 90's and 2000' shit was rad.
Most computers these days don't even come with dvd/cd drives at all. A generation apart, wistful nostalgia abounds.
USB is a blessing, is it not?
There is such a thing as USB CD-ROM drives. I have one.

Building your own was always way too much fun
I want to watch Peter play and rate the rest of the Hot Wheel games.
Oh man.... There's more??
@@marekant7776 yeah. There's many more on the PS2. Alot on the PS3/360 era and the most recent with Hot Wheels Unleashed.

I used to play Stunt Track Driver all the time on the Game Boy Colour, and not long ago played it again on PC, still a fun game I think.

The Spongebob toy is my new favourite running gag.

Why "grow up" when you can smile at a guy a couple years older than you calling something in a hot wheels game a testicle at 2am.

I cannot believe a modern man is playing the stunt hot wheels game I thought I only knew.
Interesting fact: Hot wheels was first laucned with 16 California custom styled card made mini in 1968, Honestly I collect Hot Wheels for a living.
Pater is the best hotwheels toy tester
