There's tons of us! But hate sells on the Internet...
everyone already played the game, just everyone on ps5 already played the game but wanted the remaster because it was a better version, well same thing with this, PC gamers use to be console gamers that's why they are bringing the games to PC for that crowd, not traditional PC gamers because they don't even play these types of games
...and Miles Morales is coming as well (probably November or December)

I cannot see how this game would feel nice at all on KBM, seems to me like it would be like playing a soulsborne game on KBM.

Dunno, i still feel being relax sitting back and play with controller is better. Because this game don’t require precision aim or fast reacting. But it a huge thumb up that now i can play it at 4k 60fps high setting and don’t have to hear turbo engine on charge. And being on pc is likely gonna have great community support from behind.
Performance was what I was really looking for here since we have seen reviews for this amazing game already. I'm glad you covered those issues here. I'm still buying the game and fully expect it to be improved on. Looking forward to the Digital Foundry review on this one.
Alex tweeted that the video is gonna be late (tomorrow instead of today) because they added in some last minute changes to the graphical settings
Pretty sure the only reason he is having performance problems is because he is on a 2080ti at 1440p. Pretty sure this game on a 3080 and up at 4k balanced dlss and high ray tracing will be butter smooth. I mean if i can play cyberpunk smoothly over 60 fps constantly with rtx everything except lighting at 4k performance dlss with a 3080 ti and 5900x. Then im not too worried about Spider-Man not being smooth.
Sony doesn't do bad ports. I've beat God of war and Horizon for the PC on release and both were phenomenally optimized games

Honestly, after this release I'm really looking forward to Ghost of Tsushima coming to PC next. Here's hoping it comes sometime next year! Meanwhile, Uncharted is still MIA 🤔

Tsushima is a fantastic game, one of my favourites from the last few years
Uncharted is slated for OCT 19th according to several articles based on steam.
The second that game was released I had a feeling it was coming to pc so I never bought it. Just held off hoping it would and I am so happy I did. Cannot wait to play that one.
Definitely a great game. Reminds me of the type of games I dreamed about playing as a kid in the 80s.
Imagine if in the sequel we can replace those MJ missions.... with Venom missions!!

I *loved* this game on the PS4. The epic music, the voice work (especially Peter/Spider-Man was perfect), the breathtaking movement across the city (I think I used the fast-travel system a grand total of once to see what it was like)... Combined with the masterful storytelling and a combat system that made me feel powerful at the same time as it challenged me, it all added up to what was probably the most enjoyable game I played that year!
I'm so excited to see what mods are going to come out of this port, maybe even some balancing of the spongy enemies.
I just finished the Remaster on PS5 and loved the game, but the ray tracing on pc looks incredible.

With all the great things this game offers, the best for me was the pacing. You never felt like the map was bloated with pickups as long as you cleaned it up after every main mission. Truly a masterpiece all around.
Pacing is by far the best part of this game, the first night I started at 9pm and the next time I checked my phone it was 4:30am. This game spoils you with how well they paced the game out, makes you forget youre even playing a game
would love to see a section of the review dedicated to settings. I was hoping to see what type of HUD customization available for PC and accessibility. I know a while ago you used to always have them.

Hopefully FSR is gonna help my fps, because I don't mind dropping down to 45 fps as a compromise but fingers crossed.
I've been dying to play this since it's first release on PS, but never had the chance. I've watched countless reviews, just to torture myself with what I've been missing out on. Finally, tomorrow's the day I get to experience this awesome game! Even better seeing that it's going to be top notch on PC!

I been wanting this and Ghost of Tsushima on pc for so long! I already played them on ps4 when they first came out but wanted the sweet feeling of 60+ fps!
As far as the game goes for one of my favorite heroes, They did extremely well without having to go through the overly done Uncle Ben scene that people who don't even know about heroes much already know about while still alluding to things that were important like that to Pete. Plus it has a scene that truly makes me want to cry still when I watch it again....and now im gonna have to see it again :(

Been hyped for this game since 2018 even though I don't have a PlayStation. Let's see if my laptop can handle this game. Ray tracing is probably out of the window with a 4 gig RTX 3050 but still here's hoping

Remember this review was made before Day-0 NVIDIA drivers. The drivers will make the performance much better.
Also nixxes is still pushing out patches as we speak. Some of the issues here have already been improved upon according to Digital Foundry.
I've never expected to be able to play this game on PC, but here we are.
Speaking of the guns in HEAT, I watched the 4k release of HEAT this last weekend! I ended up watching the bank heist shootout 3 times in a row with maximum volume! My neighbors thought there was a shootout going on in my house! 😄 "Where's Waingro!" "How the f**k would I know?"💥🔫

More than possible suits, I want to see what the modding community can do interms of adding more random crime or adding a bit more realism to the swinging. Loved this game and I'll happily pay Full price for it again. We gotta how the industry that this is the quality we want out of our games

Great game. I bought it on release for the PS4, played through it twice. Bought it shortly after getting my hands on a PS5, and played through a 3rd time. Then played Miles Morales through to completion. Thinking of buying it a third time because my PC is a beast, and I still love this game. Wish my PlayStation saves/unlocks could transfer, so I could play New Game+ with all my suits.
I finally get to try this. First thing I’m doing is figuring out how to put on the Toby Maguire spidey suit.

I've been waiting to play this game since it came out on playstation; spider man 2 is one of my favorite games ever. But I can't afford a console; I just have a PC which I also use for my job. I really hope this is moddable enough, that we could change the swinging physics and add more momentum and remove some of the weird assists like the ones that doesn't allow you to swing close to the ground.
I have to think it’s to save them from working on collision physics of spidey slamming into cars/pedestrians. In a mod do you think you’d like to swing low without collision?

i have played this i think 5 times, and i already bought it on steam, this game is just my favorite game of all time. i legit finished this game in just under 2 days, i just absolutely love it to bits. the only problem is, my parents are divorced, and i have a playstation to myself at my dads, but he moved across the country and i only see him around 4-5 times a year, sometimes less. so i didnt get a lot of times to play it, last christmas though my brother got a ps4, and i can ask him for it every so often, but i dont wanna take it too often, because if he came in my room always asking for my pc, i would be mad. but basically i rarely get the chance to play my favorite game of all time. but now that its coming out on pc, i am just so happy, because the amount of times i am in the mood to just swing around is so often, and im never able to do it. but now i can. so like thank god that insomniac brought this to pc
I just recently got a PS5 (Finally!!) and played through Spiderman for the first time. I couldnt put it down and it became the first PS game I ever got a platinum trophy on. I will likely have Miles platiunum trophy in the next week or two. HIGHLY recommend.
At a certain point it’s going to be more cost effective to just get a gaming PC. You can play PC exclusives, Xbox exclusives and PlayStation exclusives and run them well for under a grand

Played over 20h on ps4 pro, cannot wait to get my hands on this one on PC. The gameplay is so smooth I could play for hours at a time and still have fun swinging around in the city just to relax. Solid game, I truly hope they make another one and release it on PC.

I'm so happy this game finally came to PC, I've been tempted over the years to invest in a Playstation just for this but could never justify the purchase, so I settled for watching a few Let's Plays of it. And even with 4 years of anticipation and most of the gameplay having been "spoiled" by having already seen it, the game still more than lived up to my expectations.

Dude, what hardware are you running where you had frame rate issues at 1440p with DLSS or FSR? I have an RTX 4000 and I don’t have any of these issues. Pretty solid 60 with DLSS and RT at 1440p, only a core i7-4790k too, with 16GB DDR3 and a 1TB NVME PCI 3.0 SSD.

Picked this up for Steam Deck and it’s honestly amazing to see this game running in a handheld.
Favourite scene on this is stopping the helicopter. I actually felt like a hero - its an AMAZING scene. Get this game - its soooo well worth it

I had 1 problem that showed up a few times when playing, when I was tasked to diffuse a bomb the Y button didn’t show up on my screen, which caused me to fail the mission. Other than that the game is pretty much perfect.
I got it preloaded on my PC and my Steam Deck. So excited to finally play a PC Spider-Man game again.
The regional pricing for it in many regions is horrible. It's more than +200% more expensive in India.
PlayStation PC pricing is worse than EA and Ubisoft
