Great video. Thanks so much. Definitely need to do my own motors repair. FPV is getting to expensive to just keep buying new motor after a crash that damaged the motor. 👍🏾👍🏾👏🏽👏🏽
Well done, dont see many videos that show and explain so much. Thanx for sharing.!
Absolute legend. I'm also amused at how similar our taste in motors is.
epic! I was replacing bearings, but this is another level ;)
Awesome job, Frank!
This is so interesting, I’ve always wondered if people just tossed out old motors 😂
Thank you for sharing~!!!
Thanks, got a huge pile of motors to repair now!
man you are so good , I just found you and I am already a fan, I am a noob and having problem with mounting my motors because some of the holes are too wide and the screw is too thin !! so there is no grip if I could explain it good enough , please help me
Im having a hell of time trying to get the Bell off of my T motor 5 inch quad, which going by quick glance, doesn't seem to be bent anywhere, but obviously it has to be , which is Im assuming the reason why the motor simply is difficult to spin while using my fingers, but I digress, I am hoping that you have a full proof way or maybe just a quick tip that will help me to pop this damn bell off off, this isn't the first time I've had issues getting the bell off of a motor, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thankx
Do you have a video for winding a motor? Good video
How do you then repair the bell or do you just replace it?
At this time bell is unable to be fixed beyond shaft replacement. However I am designing a tool to fix dented bells provided magnets are not shattered or broken.
My wife says your voice sounds like comedian Steven Wright.
nice
How do you get broken used or burned motors?
for me the answer is crash daily.
My motor has a broken winding.. Any chance i can fix it without rewinding it?
No chance sorry
@@fsarfino dang it!... Buying a new one is my only option then. Would it be okay if i still use it? It can still spin normally.
@@dealexl421 as long as your not sending it way out I'd keep ripping it until failure. Then you'll have a spare bell after the windings totally fail.
@@fsarfino alright man, thanks for the advice 🤘
Gracias Franco
2207 stator rated for 4s can i change 2207 stator rated for 6s?
The actual stator has no bearing on voltage capability. That would be based on wire temperature rating and KV. But if you have a high enough temperature rated wire you can run a high KV with 6s.
@@fsarfino thanks for the reply im planning to put my karearea toa 2207 2450kv stator to my eco 2 2207 2400
bell fits to the toa stator and base
@@zeusking4686 yeah you'll be fine as long as the bell & shaft fit your good. I've even ran 2207 Brother hobby bells on 2208 brother hobby motors with no noticable loss in performance.
Okies thanks big help
@@fsarfino iflight xing2 2207 2775kv motors on 6s i think im pushing it? im a noob theres lots of tacky black shit on the windings now i think they might b getting smoked or is there a way to clean that shit off?
more motor repair
WTF ?? Bro you are all over the place with all these diff motors and diff motor pieces !! Slow down and Breathe !! Start from the very beginning with a full motor, then proceed into how it all comes apart. Piece by Piece. Video quality, placement and mic are solid and good otherwise.
lol I don't even fly anymore but it was fun while it lasted
@@fsarfino why not ? My son and I just started bout almost a yr now. These things are awsome. Can't wait til they make em legal and affordable to get on and ride !!
@@hardluck7769 honestly got burned out on the hobby & all my flying buddies in the area quit so that killed the hobby for me personally.
@@fsarfino that sux. I know the feeling brother. Life changes soo much as we get older, yet I refuse to grow up... lol
