Love your art! ❤ I started drawing because of you! My brown shopping bags are ones among other surfaces! It’s so much fun! Thank you for inspiration! Please continue with your beautiful work and vlog!
I hit the like button before I even watch the video. Love watching your stuff, hands down the best on the yt. You always manage to pull me out of my slump, so thank you.
Your video’s are so inspiring❤! Just a few weeks ago I started doing this exact thing being inspired by a portret of Josephine, Napoleon’s wife! My style is pencil drawing or watercolor because I find that for me it does more justice to the delicate features in these portraits. I then combine it by the style you offer in order to keep the looseness that I really need to practice! I appreciate how you encourage your viewers to find their own style🙏
Love this!... again! You inspired to me dig out my daughter's History of Fashion Costume book from college. It is FILLED with ideas for head to toe. Krista, if you have not seen it, it's a treasure of ideas!!!! Could be overload!!!
I would love to get the details of the book so I can search it online. Do you have the year it was published or the publisher's name? THANK YOU!! ❤️❤️❤️
@ DK Smithsonian. There are several copies on Etsy for $25-30. Has a beautiful 50’s fancy dress with muted green stole on cover. You’ll know, there are 4 or 5 shown. 480 pages
I guess that all of us who follow you are 100 % with you in the process with both understanding and admiration. You are so generous, and time after time you create miracles in front of our eyes. 🌟🙏❤️ (Think invoice is possible?)
I love your girls; I like minimalist loose style and they're very inspiring! You mentioned a few times about developing own style and not copying yours, even though I think that we all come here to learn that style. I've seen other channels drawing faces that looks like your drawings, but they also look like Dina Wakley drawings, just to mention one artist. I'm afraid to post my face drawings, they look too much like yours. 🤭You're a good teacher! 🌷
Post away! ❤️✍️ Share your art. ✨ I am not sure I meant it that way. A lot of people are trying to find their art style and I speak about it in my videos and encourage people to explore and play with art styles. Some people tag me in their video me so I can see their work. Have fun and happy sketching!! ❤️❤️❤️
Still trying to figure out my 'style.' I like trying to get close to the (1960s usually) reference picture I use(not hyper-realistic close), but your videos have me wonder and want to loosen up more. I guess with art you just need to experiment and have fun! 😁 I love the finished drawing! I also have been thinking I should try and go back further than the 60s.
Can you do a quick video....doing this same painting BUT with your super basic instruction whereas you utilize two circles and the cross in the face to balance the features Please Please WE love your colors and techniques
I agree that it is hard to shade with markers sometimes. I’ve had that happen, but I’m still just practicing , not trying to duplicate fine art😅. This lady is quintessentially you. Love the nose and lips. She’s a beauty. Wonder how long it took the artist to paint this! Definitely more than 20 minutes…

oh I love the old artists portrait work too! In my opinion you did an amazing job of making her your own but yet keeping her in that old style!
Thank you so much!! ❤️🎨
You really captured her innocence in your drawing!

Thank you!! I also wonder how long the artists of famous paintings took to create their masterpieces. This is one of my favourites! ❤️
