You're giving people good tips in the adobe programs. They're getting so many new features I have to keep up with them. Sometimes people new to the programs learn those features faster 'cause I'm stuck doing something the same way I've done it for 10 years! The only thing you have to be careful about when you're using green screens is if the item is too close to the screen, the light can cast a green tone on your object that's visible on the object itself when it's cut out. It's really hard to edit out, so it's best to make sure it doesn't get in the photo initially.
Photographer tip: When using green screen check your white balance with your product and make sure the lighting in your room is coming in from the same direction from the background.
Green screens and blue screens were used because human skin doesn't have much blue or green and they can easily be cut out. THAT's why they're green or blue. It's very sad that [somehow] ring lights got popular on RUclips. A small softbox would give MUCH BETTER light. Ring lights have horrible shadows and really stupid-looking reflections in eyeglasses. Ring lights (flashes) were used by photographers in the 1970s to give very harsh lighting to the models.
Girl... you have the object too close to the background. If you move it further away from the green screen the shadows will fall off. I'm a professional photographer.
