FOR ANYONE NEEDING HELP!
This is a great video, but it does not address a problem I’ve been having. For the past three days I’ve been trying to figure out why I couldn’t get a green screen to come up through my reels. I could access it through stories, but I could never get to it through my reels. Today I figured out why. When you go into reels it automatically defaults to your camera roll and you’ll see at the top it has options. “Audio” “Trending” “GIFS” “Templates” and the first one should say “camera”. Hit that. And now you should see your options. I don’t know why Instagram rolls out different versions of the app with different accessibilities, to different people, but it’s super annoying. Once you hit “camera,” your screen will change to how hers looked in the beginning after she hit the +. Most of the tutorials I see just hit the + and then it gets them right to the open camera screen, without defaulting them to their camera roll, like mine does. Anyway, once you get into your open camera, the effects should be down at the bottom in the little circles. Hope this helps anyone who has been as frustrated as I have been because of this editing nonsense!

I would like to know how to add a recorded video of yourself instead talking live? Anyone has a tip?
I spent some frustrating hours searching for this same answer yesterday and finally found: you can not. It only works with recording right into the app. I believe it's possible using capcut or some other editing app, but I have not figured that out yet.
