I have cried to see this for 2 reasons:
1. I have see as this song was coming out in the 80´s and know the original clip.
2. I see the clip know and see how old they are in 2019 and ask myself where is the time?
I hope you all unterstand what i mean? The time fly away so fast that i don´t know how much will us be left? I´m afraid that the time of life is to short when i see and hear so a beautifull song like this...

@@Michael-fc7no No, they definitely aren't. You might go listen the original again. His voice has a deeper tone now and his phrasing is a bit different consistent with age. He also makes different choices here and there.

After 40 years this still remains one of my favorite songs, and to hear such a fresh version is mind blowing.

This song was always a classic. With the Orchestra it goes to a whole other better level!
Rock meets Pop, meets Classical performance, throw in glorious instrumentation and voice, and you have one of the most glorious hot hits ever. Just love it! I dance every time I hear this awesome wonder! When you think that it came about due to some off teaching time because ONE KID DIDN'T TURN UP FOR THEIR MUSIC LESSON! Gifts really do arrive in mysterious ways, for us all to enjoy many these decades later and then some! Thank you, gents🎉💥👏👍
I just can't stop watching this performance. I was lucky to have experienced this song and band in real time in the 80's. My teen years were entirely in the 80's. The lead singer vocals are exactly the same as they were in the 80's. In videos and live performances back in the 80's. Just memories of great times.....

Just beautiful. Brings back so many memories...... I so....so...miss the 80's. Makes my heart ache... I recall listening to this song blasting on my boom box in the 80's. Late nights in my bedroom. Also calling them old is just not classy at all. All that matters is that their talented and can perform like the professionals that they are. Kinda surreal that that the ballet dancer wasn't even born when this song song was originally released. Those of us that lived this song in real time, this a great tribute.
If GTA 6 will be in Vice City again so they should puts this remaster song on one of the radio stations.

I have heard gta 6 will be based on Miami and some city in Brazil. vice city is also based on Miami. So the map won't be exactly the same. If might be like gta 5.

This is a strange song. When this came out it was being played by so many different types of people who followed different types of music , yet no matter who or where it was being played it seemed to fit. Its one of those anthem songs that bespoke of a time and worked for so many people. So many mixed tapes no matter the genre would have this in it back in the day.
It’s one of the smoothest most timeless songs of the 80s. Similar to hall and Oates I can’t go for that

It is so absolutely great to hear and see the guys together and making music!!! Met them in 2010 in Milwaukee Wi and they were totally down to earth excellent guys. They truly care about there Wang Chung fans! Fantastic music over the decades by two top notch performers!!!!
This was an awesome song my older sis loved these guys. And the orchestral melodies make it even better! Long live the 80s!!! B) Dang the vocalist doesn't even sound like an old man!.. crazy.
When you consider how close the "largeness" of the sound is to tat of the original, which was made with digital FM synths... you realize why those synths were such a go-to choice for making music in the day: Big sound had with fewer musicians.

Wang Chung were a groovy band - highly underated if you ask me, they had a groovy string of hits in the 80's my fav was this one and Everybody have fun tonight, Hypnotize me, good to see them back in action - Best wishes to them.
Orchestral reworks often water down the energy of the original, but Wang Chung and CPO nailed it! I didn't fully appreciate this track in its first release, but Professor of Rock kickstarted a new fascination, and it's now in my playlist as a favourite.
This was one of my favorites in the 80's, and it's still one of my favorites in 2024.

I love this song from the Bumblebee soundtrack. It's funky but melancholy. The build-up of the strings from 1.48 in this orchestral version is so beautiful.
