Salazar wouldn’t have been an ally to Voldemort. Their ideals differ and he would look on Moldy Voldy as an abomination of magic that he aims to keep pure.
Voldemort being a half-blood would be a major issue between the two, if and when Salazar found out about it. I also wonder what he would think about the current wizarding world. After all, there was no separation of the two worlds back in his day.
Somehow, I don't think Salazar would have been willing to play a supporting role (some might even say subservient) to his descendant, especially to one who is a half-blood himself. He might play along for a short while, at least until he could take control from Voldemort.
Voldemort killed his muggle family so Salazar would likely hold something else aganst him. Getting his basalisk killed becuase he underestimated harry, dishonoring the memories of his fellow founders, losing his body because of lily's sacrifice, faling to kill her son multiple times, maybe even cowerdicve because of his horcruxes.
@@spiritofarkham1235 excellent points!
Imaginie bring back Slytherin takes one look at Voldemort goes you're not a pureblood and kills him instantly
@@magicpyroninja honestly, that would be epic! Not to mention hilarious! 🤣
This will be one hell of a ritual.
I found this very interesting. If Salazar Slytherin found out Tom Riddle was a half-blood, I suspect Tom Riddle would have been very sorry he brought him back.
We have to keep in mind that Slytherin was friends with the other founders. I think that he would have ended up not wanting to disgrace them and the school. Perhaps he’d see they still wanted to honor Slytherin with the Slytherin house. Though they differed in some opinions, I think he’d see the school was still very successful. Voldemort didn’t care if he had to destroy Hogwarts to achieve his goals, this (I feel) is something Slytherin would’ve been heavily against.
Nicely said. I was thinking the same
honestly i dont even think that Slytherin was evil in the first place, he hated muggles because they were actively hunting wizards. he cares about wizards while Voldemort killed a lot of them and was planning to attack Hogwards - the school that Slytherin helped to create. i feel like he just could not force himself to trust muggles and half blood wizards because of everything that was happening at the time
He literally made the chamber of secrets and had the basilisk to kill mud-bloods..
@@Swags456 if needed. He never went on a rampage to kill mud-bloods.
@@factsoftheconfederacy7151 lol too be fair at the time there weren’t a lot of muggleborn or half bloods yet 🤣
Since we're doing what if... What if he resurrected Slytherin and Slytherin decided Voldemort was more of a menace to the Wizarding World than muggles and sided with Dumbledore? 😁
It would be funny
That's actually the most realistic choice as Salazar was friends with the other founders, and just decided to leave Hogwarts instead of starting a fight. He wouldn't let Voldemort do what he did that's for sure.
Then he can meet Hermione and see her genius which would begin changing his own views on who to teach
@@NetherCrafterSMC She was never a genius just a bookworm.
@@asniffer6532 No his views would be seen as disgusting. to the modern person. Secondly, Voldemort was his last descendant... do you think he would not side with him? Oh and the deatheaters, almost all of his own house who side with him.
I honestly think he’d be disgusted with Voldemort.
That's kind of how I viewed it. Slytherin was about pure blood and using dark arts but if I remember correctly he wasn't for "purging" non pure bloods, he just didn't want to school to teach them. Also, I think he was for using dark arts but only as a last means. He wasn't trying to go around killing people and ruling the wizarding world.
@@coz9997 I mean, he did put a basilisk in the chamber of secrets to rid the school of non-pure bloods...
@@ashleylentz2651 I think that's a more modern day interpretation of the wizarding world. It seems more likely when you put his overall reasoning of disliking muggleborns into context that it was there to defend the school. During Slytherin's day people he probably knew and cared for were brutally killed for possessing a gift that muggles perceived as devilry. He might've been paranoid that a muggle storming of the castle could somehow occur due to students from muggle families being in the school. It could very well be that Slytherin's intention was for his bloodline to stand guard over the school he adored and helped build.
@@kieranadamson3224 that's possible... But we don't know for sure. It still doesn't look good.
@@ashleylentz2651 Fair point.
Slytherin : " DUDE I JUST WANTED PUREBLOODS TO JUST GO TO SCHOOL I DIDN'T WANT TO A WAR !!!! All I want to do was create new magical spells. Make some new stuff innovate and let purebloods just go to school that's it !!! What's this crap about going to war with the ministry and. Exclusively using dark magic I use dark magic but it wasn't to this insane degree. I just want to kids to go to school I didn't want this. "
It's kind of debatable. Slytherin was a dark wizard and did oppose many of the values of the other houses.
I always found it strange that there aren't portraits of the founders mentioned in the books. I think that each house should have had their founder to give children advice. I also think portraits should be in the headmasters office. I would have loved to see Godrick Griffindor 's portrait guiding Harry. Or checking on students for Dumbledore.
Makes perfect sense!🤫
Maybe the magic for thr portraits was developed after they passed away?
@@gullinvarg Maybe, but then how would Griffindor students get into their common room without the fat ladies portrait?
@@kyriepitcher355 Was the fat lady contemporary with the founders? Genuinely asking as I have no idea.
@@gullinvarg I don't know either but there had to be a way into the common room. The castle was updated so it could have been added later.
Salazar's spirit, or even Herpo the Foul's, coming back instead of Voldemort's would have been interesting. You should also do a video on if Draco attended Durmstrang instead like Lucius wanted.
Why did Lucius want Draco to go to Durmstrang
@@music79075 he wanted Draco to become skilled in the dark arts, which is not teached in Hogwarts, but very deeply in Durmstrang. That was also were Grindelwald went to study.
@@lutzvonhintermond274 Yes, Durmstrang also did not allow Muggle-borns to attend the school which is how Lucius would have preferred Hogwarts be.
Salazar would be disgusted with Voldemort. Salazar hates Muggles and Muggleborns because of how Muggles hunted them. However, he hates the idea of tormenting and murdering mudbloods. Even though he made the Basilisk, he likely did so as a precaution against Muggleborn students is deemed as a threat to the students in Hogwarts. Voldemort meeting a portrait of Salazar Slytherin is possible. It should be noted that Salazar mentored Merlin which might be the main reason why Merlin is a good-natured person and wizard similar to how Dumbledore mentored Harry.
In Hogwarts Legacy when you get to Salazar Slytherin’s scriptorium you find out that his outlook on the wizarding world is basically parrallel with Voldemort, he was just not a psychopath like Voldy was. He did not want half bloods, he did not like muggles, he only wanted pure bloods in Hogwarts, and wanted to teach all students the dark arts, not just defense. He left Hogwarts because Goddrick Gryffindor disagreed with him and wanted basically all the same things Dumbledore espoused.
Bringing back someone from the dead is impossible, and even though there is a thing called necromancy, it’s highly forbidden in a lot of magical worlds. Salazar Slytherin being back would definitely cause a lot of trouble and there would definitely be a rebellion by a lot in the wizarding world because not a lot shared Slytherin’s beliefs and I think they would beat Voldemort and Salazar.
No views, 0 likes, 10 seconds ago, I’ve never been this early
You don't always want to celebrate being early lol.
@@paulcowlishaw It's not a celebration, I'm just saying I'm early, do you take issue with that?
Excellent story line I am impressed. Here is the problem about Salazar Slytherin by calling him a dark wizard- Salazar wasn't evil. Sure I can't say the whole Basilisk idea was positive of course not, but he said what he said and did what he did out of ideology. Out of will to keep the wizarding world safe like you said yourself and a pure wizarding society of course. Rather we agree or disagree with pure blood mania he still didn't have evil ambition like Voldemort had, he just didn't care how he was going to accomplish his values. Now if he found out about Horcruxes I think he would have hated the idea. He would never take orders from anyone and he might have come to a partnership with Voldemort. I wonder if Albus Dumbledore would be a match for Salazar Slytherin as he was a match for Voldemort.
The rift is a point of weakness for voldemort. His enemies can simply divide and conquer between the two
"The dark side is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural."
Wrong franchise
@@seth9655 no shit
Good analogy. This video describes a world where the dark side wins! Then fights against itself. Similar to the rise of the First Order. Kylo Ren realizes the error if his ways and sacrifices himself for the greater good. Slytherin would do like wise to save his school from Voldy and the Wizarding race from extinction.🤔🤗
Such an interesting idea Dean. I think it’s likely that Salazar wouldn’t actually want to work with Voldemort, from what I have seen he’s was a loner and a bit of a introvert in personality.but not wanting any less of a pure blood world.
You know if he'd have just been ok with being immortal and minding his own business, Voldemort would be alive today. 😭
Depends how much we know about Salazar is correct, and how much was exaggerated or changed over time. History can often be like a game of telephone. Salazar not wanting muggleborns at Hogwarts doesn’t necessarily mean he hated them or wanted them dead. Keep in mind when Slytherin was alive witch burnings were a thing. He may of simply not wanted muggleborns out of concern that muggles would try to use their muggleborn children to endanger the other students. We don’t know for sure why the basilisk was hidden underneath the castle and since it’s dead there probably isn’t anything or anyone to ask that could tell you for sure as if Slytherin or any of the other founders had a portrait they probably would have one in the headmaster’s office to advise the future headmasters. I guess it’s possible the sorting hat may know something about it, but I doubt it as they probably would have asked it about the chamber the first time it was open. If the hat had known anything it probably would have told the teachers then. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Voldemort went to all the trouble of bringing back Slytherin and he ended up siding with Dumbledore and the Order.
Good one love the what if videos keep going always look forward to more
Great video thank you so much please keep up your amazing work stay safe and have a wonderful and blessed day
Could u make more vids on the other 3 founders? Personally I would like Helga since I’m in her house and proud 🥹 of it.
Very interesting. Thanks for doing this.
Excellent topic!!!
I see Salazar Slytherin taking one look at Voldemort and starts laughing. Making jokes about the guant family screwing snakes and would be unable to to take Voldemort seriously blowing him off.
Can you please do What if Dumbledore resurrected Godric Gryffindor?
I can't see Dumbledore doing this, unless Slytherin is also resurrected and, against all odds, is helping Voldemort take the Wizarding world by storm. If Slytherin isn't resurrected, there'd be no need to resurrect Gryffindor.
@@ashleylentz2651 What if Dumbledore resurrected Gryffindor as part of his Big Plan to stop Voldemort?
@@YellowBear-kx1ff again, I don't think he would, unless Slytherin was resurrected. Dumbledore is wise and knows not to mess with life and death lightly.
Godryk is animagus living as octopus in Hogwarts lake
Can you please do WHAT IF James POTTER SURVIVED?
What If The Founders RETURNED ?
Salazar wasn't evil tho.
The basilisk was meant to protect Hogwarts, he never used it on any muggleborns.
He was Godrics best friend.
He lived in the age of Witch trials and crusades, of course he'd of been skeptical.
Hell he doesn't even seem to dislike half bloods, as the sorting hat, which has his exact specifications, and doesn't ever allow muggleborns into Slytherin house, allows half bloods.
Honestly, he'd probably see his own rebirth as a crime against nature.
I believe what the supercarlin Brothers is true is that there was another reason why there was a chamber of secrets not just to hold the basketless but it was a place he could lay his petrified self and be resurrected by an aire. That also can mean that's what his locket had as a secret not only could it be open by a snake mouth it told the wearer how to get to the chamber and resurrect Salazar.
I'm here love this ish

I feel like Salazar wasn't really evil like Voldemort but he is against teaching halfbloods and muggleborns because of fear and care for magical world. That's why I feel like he would turn on Voldemort who is himself halfblood
How good is the VFX Artist 👏👏

Wow this is very interesting
I think one of the biggest problems would be the language barrier honestly, because old English was the language used until the 12th century
"You can't bring the dead back to life, I trust you know that Harry."- Albus Dumbledore.
This is an alternate reality where magic has developed way beyond the supernatural.🤫🙈😼
Great video and beautiful images in the edit. How long does it take you to do the video vs your script/theory crafting?
About 4 hours scripting then 6-8 hours editing, before that I have to create bullet points of his impact on different aspects of the wizarding world.. it’s draining if I’m honest but the satisfaction when it’s all done makes it worth it
@@HarryPotterFolklore wow that’s a lot more than I expected even with such nice videos. Well keep it up man. What with the new game and the cursed child rumours I reckon Harry Potter is about to get big again.

Great art work. You are up there with many published books.😆😁
Hey guys would it be possible to do a Voldimart redemption video? Scenario could start at the final battle between Harry and Voldy. Realizing his impending demise Voldy accepts Harry's offer of forgiveness and surrenders. Avoiding the final duel.🧐🤯
Awesome video. I still want to know how Tom Riddle found the Chamber of Secrets when he was at school.
Despite a Slytherin myself I can't say that I would want to meet our founder considering that he was from a certain point of view basically a pre dated death eater.
The death eaters are more so a twisted more malevolent version of Slytherin's belief without the societal problems that actually reasonably explain why he felt the way he did about admittance.
That is a logical argument after all the wizards of his time were being hunted and mercilessly slaughtered so I do understand him having his reservations. However there is nothing that can justify his plan with the basilisk, unleashing a dangerous monster in the school to slaughter dozens innocent children who had nothing to do with what was going on att the time and just wanted to understand and learn about the they had been blessed with.
The fact that he planned to do something to awful makes him no different to Voldemort or the death eaters in my eyes.
There is a difference between explaining behavior and excusing behavior.
@@Dragonhearth1461 I don't think the basilisk was meant for the purging the muggleborns it was incase they ended up couldn't be trusted and found a way to bring other muggles to hogwarts and attacked them he didn't plan that his decendant was going to take it literally and try to cause a mass genocide of muggle borns due to his own derangement.
I see Slytherin more as an "anti-hero" instead of a villain. He would kick Tom's ass because the whole "purging" thing.
very good
Wow! What a rabbit hole! I'm inclined to agree with you that the initial Resurrection we have been a cause of celebration amongst dark wizards. But I also think that Salazar's Resurrection would have given even pure of heart wizards reason for joy, slithering his return would have been an incredible opportunity to learn from a true master. Dark wizard or not, Salazar Slytherin was and is still a Hogwarts founder.
I guess it wouldnt really work out because Salazar and Tom wouldnt get along very well and it would only cause a massive power struggle between them.
I can honestly just imagine Salazar being like "pffteh,I can do better" and just disliking and disagreeing with Voldemort. In fact he'd probably just betray him and try to steal Voldemort's empire.
Please make a video all about the history of the Giants of the wizarding world please
Voldemort would never tolerate a rival, not even Slytherin.
This doesn't take into account the fact that Salazar could very well be angry with not only Voldemort for what he has done but also the wizarding world for the way things have gone.
Where do get all these art of wizards concept art etc.
This is a really interesting what if scenario!
Somewhere I think Salazar Slytherin would be proud of Voldemort, purely based of what he accomplished with magic. Pushing boundaries of magic so far. One of the traits to get in Slytherin house is ambition.
But moral and personality wise I don't know if the two wizards could get along/work together. Slytherin was (as far as I know) respecting laws and rules magic wise and in the wizarding community. Yes Slytherin build the chamber of secrets to protect pureblood/halfblood in Hogwarts. But i'm not sure if he would wipe out all muggle and or halfbloods in the entire wizarding community, like Voldemort. beacuse teaching magic to muggle borns and half bloods is a different thing than the question if they are allowed to exist.
So I don't have a strong theoretical tought about how this would work out.
I think the key word is of his time magic would of evolved since then
Where can I find the artwork used?
What If Slitherin is more Like Snape? I believe he must be much "better" then Voldemort thinks. He was a part of Hogwarts which he couln't be if he would be like the death eaters....
Probably would resurrect Potter's parents first as a way to taunt Potter. Perhaps putting the parents on display like the snake Harry encountered when he learned he could speak snake. Voldemort could remove that statue at the ministry of magic to put a glass room for the parents to live a simple life.
What a dastardly way to turn the Wizard world on itself, Voldemort could offer to bring back the dead and plenty would be desperate to turn in enemies of Voldemort for the chance to be with their loved ones the way Harry kept on using the mirror.
Voldemort could offer the Bullied to bring their bullies to kill them to bring back a dead best freind for instance, and by doing so would corrupt the wizard/witch who wanted to sacrifice their bully. If you murdered your bully then how far would you sink from there? Why stop at bullies, why not bring in some nasty muggles from a local high security prison to bring back your grand parents with the justification that you're also making the society of the muggles better as well?
Plenty of fans of Harry Potter wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice this abusive, monster couple who attempted to drown their little daughter in a bathtub that had such scalding hot water that her skin fell off her body. They would sacrifice the parents in order to bring back that little girl who was murdered by her parents if they knew that the girl could live for years or maybe even decades due to the spell before it wore off. That murder case really happened, and I'm not making it up to create some hypothetical extreme murder case.
There’s a few issues, the bone of father was a regeneration potion, he never revived himself, he just didn’t die yet,
Probs would have went like:
Voldy: My true master! I fuffiled your wishes.
Salazar: Do I smell muggle in you? nasty ass half blood ~ AVADA KEDAVRA
Slytherin didnt want muggle-borns to attend Hogwarts because muggles used to haunt and kill wizards. After the state of secrecy of 1641 that situation diminished and extinguished after nuggles forgot magic. I think Slytherin would have value this scenario as positive thus opposing Voldemorts intention to abolish it. Hence it would change sides and oppose the Death Eaters.
“My noble ancestor welcome to the modern world!”
“Don’t speak to me you filthy half blood!”
Salazar Slytherin was not wholly evil. He had ideological differences with the other founders, but otherwise was their ally. And honestly, you can't blame Slytherin for his ideals at the time, given the propensity of the muggles to use witches and wizards like firewood.
I always theorised myself that Salazar Slytherin could indeed endure as a ghost, much like the grey lady. I envisioned him using a dementor to travel about that can expel his ghost through its mouth and then reabsorb it when Slytherin needed to travel far. I also thought it would make sense, following the war, that Slytherin would his own plan into action to have himself resurrected physically as so he could begin creating his weapon to wage a final war on the wizarding and muggle world, by reversing time and bringing back Voldemort, despite Slytherin would naturally hate Voldemort for his blood status alone. But would really be fun to see Voldemort actually become Death itself.
This theory is so closely related to Naruto and Boruto that it makes it even more badass!
Can you do a video on why wizards have resentment towards muggles if their magic has the power to destroy muggles?
Video idea, what house was Morgan Le Fay? While she's the most powerful witch that we know of in the Potterverse, her house is not officially stated in canon. Many people "assume" she is a Slytherin but there's more evidence in Potter lore to indicate she is more likely a Hufflepuff than a Slytherin. Why? There isn't much about her but there are two things they do say that stands out about her like...
1) She was all about nature, healing, herbology, and potions.
2) She was diametrically opposed to Merlin who we know was a Slytherin.
Her interests and talents, not to mention her personality compared to Merlins would put her in Hufflepuff in my opinion. You could say Ravenclaw, but the thing about nature, healing, and potions rings more like a Hufflepuff to me.
Nobody would be able to understand him. There would be a significant language barrier. English 1000 years ago is nearly unintelligible to us and only very few scholars alive today would be able to understand it, notwithstanding his likely very strong accent. Although, we have The Gray Lady who is a ghost from that time period. She learned modern English, and maybe she remembers enough Olde Ænglisc well enough to be able to translate for him... but she would probably hate him from when she knew him in life.
He would either learn modern language and history. Or use magic to transform his speech to modern English. Humans are not stagnat.🤫
I think Tom Riddle would be what everyone was in his original Timeline namely Salazar would see Tom as either rival or a threat as Tom Riddle is Halfblood or else Salazar would embrace Tom teaching him spells that would ensure immortality
Interesting
"Somehow Slytherin returned"
Here's the problem, Voldemort considered himself to be Slytherins heir. He does not share power
Honestly I recently thought I wonder what wizards and witches would think of necromancy it would probably be one of the most unliked of dark magic like yeah driving someone insane or forcing them to do whatever you want but raise the dead would be evil incarnate
He would think Voldemort was a mud blood. I'm sure he would be scared though as Voldemort is undoubtedly more powerful. Only he can live forever 💯
I know one thing for sure he’d have a damn heart attack after hearing about muggle weaponry especially the nuke as that’s just a weapon everyone in the modern world wizard or not would have heard about
Salazar wasn't evil in the first place, he just wanted no muggle parents of his students because they hunted and killed killed his kind. Salazar had a very good reason to want no muggles, and he was good freinds with the other founders. He would have hated voldemort for trying to destroy the school he helped built, also he may have felt a lot differently because now muggles and wizards are seperated and dont kill eachother.
Yo should also do What Do What If Draco Malfoy Went to Durmstrang what Would he Really think of Gellert Grindelwald if he Learned about Him?
I think this is a Kaiser Willhelm vs Hitler situation. Especially from some of the comments that I have been reading.
You bet, no way the USSR would allow the Nazis to stand in the way of its political ambitions! Both sides are rivals by their very existence. They would fight then be destroyed from the inside out!😊🤗
Good point.
His Imperial Majesty Kaiser Wilhelm II may have been egotistical and naïve, but he lacked the venomous hatred that was such a driving force for Hitler. The Kaiser was actually disgusted with Hitler's anti-semitism.
They were two very different men and weren't at all fond of each other. Richard Wagner also gets tarred with the National Socialist brush, but would've probably been appalled by Hitler's hatred & extremism. Btw, The Kaiser loved gummi bears, and had them sent to him while in exile in Holland.

I love Harry Potter what ifs 😊
Be very intriguing story if Salazar Slytherin has Zigma attitude. Honestly I didn't pay much attention on how good friends they are between The Founders. Hope still preserves the legacy of his friends.
At 6:40 Even if he’s still alive…No Surprise if Grindelwald will be one of those dark wizards! No surprise if after he dies….he gets brought back!
Salazar may still be alive. And while there's zero chance Voldemort would bring Salazar back, there are ways to bring this famous wizard back into the Harry Potter world.
The easiest, and honestly, most likely means to bring Salazar back would be....
The philosopher's stone. It's clear this is a hugely rare feat to create...but Salazar is a rare, unique Wizard. So, when Salazar departs Hogwarts, he heads to Durmstrang...kills the headmaster....
And is the unseen, shadow Headmaster of that school....
And for his own reasons, he decides to act on a carefully devised plot....such as...taking over Hogwarts.
Or, there's a Horcrux that belongs to Salazar....and someone from Voldemort's followers discovers its ....possibilty of existence. Which would be a compelling story, I think.
But, Voldemort may derive his SPECIALNESS from being the HEIR OF SLYTHERIN...and that puts him on a pedestal alone and in charge....but once Salazar returns....Voldemort would be 2ND.
And he's a narcissistic sociopath. They do not share power...or relinquish it willingly. So, any thought of having Voldemort being the impetus in bringing back Salazar Slytherin...should go poof. 😉
Don't forget Merlin is in this series as well. I would imagine that he and Morgan LeFay play into this somehow. I would love to see Merlin represent the positive attributes of Slytherin, such as his cunning and a certain degree of pure ambition. Maybe Slytherin disassociates himself from Voldemort and has changed his ways over the years? Maybe Gryffindor house has a moment to turn bad, or at least get a dose of humble pie with something? So now that Voldemort's out of the way, it clears an easy path for Slytherin to return. Maybe he even faked his locket, and the real one is located at ilvermorny, along with his old wand? Maybe he made a horcrux out of that one as a simple fail-safe in case he ran out of the elixir of life? Tons of material here.
I think the best story scenario would be for Tom to bring back Salazar only for him to become his biggest rival they could share the pure blood ideology but have a dispute on how to rid the wizard world of muggles born wizards
Who do you guys think would be stronger? Dumbledore or Gryffindor?
This is very dark magic very dark indeed 😏
I always thought that one thing that especially proves how much of a straight up sociopath voldy was, was the blood thing. The fact that he even had the nerve to talk about the blood issue when all his servants were "superior" to him in that way, yet he assumes to rule them. That's the thinking of a true psycho: "yes there is rules, all must obey them, except me. None of the rules apply to me......."
If if Voldemort was pure blood, the two would have a power struggle, an over all power struggle
Some historians theorize that same would have happened if Axis Powers won WW2. 🏆 The Japanese would have been at odds with Germany. Eventually WW3 or a Cold War would break out between eat and western empires. Rebellions on both sides would cause both empires to fracture eventually. Humans would be in a much worse and more fractured state then today. 🤔
Salazar would not allow the destruction of Howgards. He will leave his attitude towards muggleborn and mudlebloods aside for the general good. If he was alive my prediction is he would even team up with Dumbledore. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. And people don't get the main difference between him and Voldemort which is huge btw. Salazar didn't hate mudlebloods and muggle in the same sense that Voldemort or even Grindelwald does. He just didn't want them to become real wizards, learn magic and be students because he thought of them unworthy and weak. Voldemort wants just to enslave all of them or kill everyone who opposes him. Grindelwald wanted to rule. All three of them have different reasons to not like them and Voldemort is the worse. Voldemort> Grindelwald> Salazar from worst to least worse
Slytherin didn't seem like a bad person, just afraid of persecution, and for good reason.
His use of dark magic seemed more scientific in nature or as protection against an (in his mind) inevitable war of muggleborns against wizard families. If he were resurrected, he'd need time to adjust to the modern world, but he would probably change his mind on blood-status, at least when it comes to studying at Hogwarts.
I can only imagine that he'd respect Voldemort's talent, but look down on his senseless hatred, cowardice, and hypocrisy. It would lead to a conflict between the two.
Salazar would be horrified and disgusted by his descendents' actions
He would probably look down on him for being a half blood and be pissed that a half blood is his descendant
Wow
“I hope you know you nothing can bring back the dead” - Dumbledore
Slytherin would have thought Voldemort as a punk.
M’en revenant de sainte-hélaine, ferme donc ta boîte, laisse moi donc chanter! 🎤
maybe salazar would NOT want someone else to be above him or think they are above him and could very well kill Voldermort after some time!! like Highlander, "there can only be one!" lol
Knowing Salazar Slytherin he would be disappointed in his bloodline his dependence fell from grace and became poor and he would be enraged to hear that voldemort's mother married a muggle tanking his family bloodline
U gotta know that he was in that age where muggels were hunting and killing wizards and witches. He had basilisk basically in case muggels attack hogwarts
if this were to have happened in the 90s when Voldemort was resurrected, neither of them would've survived the muggle world, esp America, in the 90s. lots and lots and lots of guns. you can only avid kedavra from so many angles until folks begin shooting back.
