Sir , please make a video on how to start a research journey in Bachelor's time , how to develop skills & then how to find opportunities afterall so that we can get top colleges with Tuition fee waiver for Masters program / even direct PhD afterall
Just read the textbooks and attempt GATE. If you have research oppurtunities, explore them as well. No one expects you to publish a paper in bachelors. Take your time, this is a sweet journey. Cheers.
Hello brother, need some advice from you. Does age matter during placements in IITs & NITs? I have started preparing for gate 2025, so if all goes well, I will complete my MTech at 29. Will it matter during the placements? Currently, I am working in a PSU
Sir you said some offers came for btech as well as mtech…. So by saying offers for btech did you meant offers for btech students at iisc ? If yes then how ? Because iisc btech students are only in their 2nd year now so how come they sit for placements.
Actually when companies release roles they offer for both UG and PG(Considering all over india). In IIsc since there is no Btech, those roles are not valid in IISc scenario.
I just want to know one thing personal , you could easily join a product based company after mtech and easily earn 1.25 to 1.5 lac per month instead you choose phd where you are getting 35-45k per month , what is motivation behind it ? Is it your passion for research or something else ?
I don't have exact data, but yes placement happens for them as well. Not as good as engineering students though. Many bsc students I have seen went to foreign college for MS
Hi Kishalay, nice video, i just wanted to ask that currently i am doing job in an IT company and it been 2 year, i have passed out in 2020 and then i prepared for gate ECE and i just qualified around 5k rank. so if we join iisc or any iit with good rank, during placement will they ask about drop year or age criteria matters there?
I am impressed! I see dedication here. baki to ratta maar lete hai, cheat kr lete hai. you persevered. anyone else with a sound mind will think the same. Cheers.
It might be issue for few companies, but not for all. All companies are asking for current backlog. So if you don't have any backlog in mtech, you are ok to appear for any company
Hi, I hope you're doing well. I'm a recent Computer Science graduate. I'm currently preparing for GATE and had some doubts regarding placements at IISc in the CSA department. I wanted to ask if BTech CGPA is an eligibility criterion when applying for companies on campus at IISc, and how much it affects the placement process. I think you could help me with this. Thanks in advance!
sir first of all immense respect for you to such level of efforts, and heart felt gratitude for you patience to address each and every query in the comment section.. its a small community here but i am sure each of us feel the same. coming to my question for this video : sir if a student wants to pursue a career in AI and DS, and he has an option to choose for the preparation of gate from his non-cse core branch for the CDS branch and other option being preparing for GATE CSE for the mtech AI branch, then which one is a better choice to do? this question came after watching this video that many roles are considering CSE as ug or mtech course as compulsory for the eligibility in placement for their roles . does CDS mtech lack in opportunities when it comes to placements in Ai and DS roles, just because they don't have a CSE background? other way in asking the same is; does mtech in AI is superior to mtech in CDS when it comes to placements ? also if you can make a video in differences and nuances between AI and CDS departments, then it would be a great guide to students for deciding who must target for CDS and who must target for AI dept. thank you sir
First of all thank you for loving my videos and glad to know you guys are getting helpful from the content. Coming to your question, all the companies asking for UG or PG in cse/ai consider all the dept related to cse (including CDS, AI) or students working in ML AI. So no need to worry, whichever suits you you can join that. In fact this year best placement in iisc is for CDS dept.
Dada pls suggest any branch for me. Mainly with respect to package and growth. ( I can handle very basic coding & EDC as I am graduated in EE). I searched and found that in HFT there is non coding & EDC related role called algo trader which requires Economic & maths. Can you suggest similar role dada❤
ok ok thnks for the info dada @@kishalaydas btw can also share some details about the general selection criteria to sit for big companies like google, Microsoft, amazon etc if in future they visit.

Sir, thank you so much for this information. Is the cgpa criteria that you mentioned is overall or just for mtech?
Mtech cgpa most of the company refers. But yes overall cgpa should be decent as well
You are amazing, Sir!

Kind of they check both cgpa and overall cv. Then they will shortlist you for further rounds
