Only thing a non-cse student need to take care is coding. Apart from that all the subjects like ML/AI is same for all streams. You can practice coding and master it. a couple of months dedication preparation is sufficient

@@kishalaydas Hi I am currently preparing for gate DA for PhD. I have an MSc in mathematics and Computing, worked for 2 years in AI and mathematical modelling. My main intention is teaching (not that I dislike research) after PhD. Based on the current scenario, am I on the right track. I left my job to prepare for gate 🥲.

In all IITs, companies are preferring Btechs over Mtechs. Dont know why.
But when searching jobs. Companies write masters preferred😢.

Experience matters and I would always hire a BTech with couple of years' experience over a MTech.

@@kishalaydas BTech with different set of experiences brings more value to a company. Only place a MTech may help is if you are going for a PhD
