I had no idea this song was in the "Flatliners" movie until today! I've played the "Dave Stewart and The Spiritual Cowboys" parent album of this track many times and would argue that it's possibly the greatest album put out by Annie or Dave solo or together (though the excellent "Be Yourself Tonight" album runs it very close). When on a trip to the US in the early 90's, I picked this up as a CD single (sadly, it was never released aa a UK single) and it had some rather good non-album tracks on it too.
Saw this video twice back when it was new and never forgot it. This is one of those special tunes that just hits on every cylinder. Awesome to hear it again.
@@cthulhu626 This is a hard one to find an exact match for, but the song that immediately came to mind was "Put Your Money on Me" by The Struts. A bit more on the lighter glam rock side, but just as much energy. I'll let you know if I think of anything else.
I have loved this song since it debuted, but for some reason, I cant remember if I saw the screaming ending like here. Feels like Ministry. Love this era of David A Stewart.
Finally found this song..saw the music video ONCE back when the movie was in theatres ....its played only as background music in one VERY short scene of students partying outside a building ..to me this song had VERY "Lost BOys" vibe to it and would have been perfect on the planned "Lost Girls" sequel that was never made ....."David" did not die at the end of Lost Boys and restarted the family with teenage girls ...though i think it was going to be set many yrs later with Keifer being more of "Max" character this time around
Yeah, you can definitely hear that, but oddly it was perfect in its own way for Flatliners (which I personally think is Schumaker's true masterpiece, full disclosure). That time has the same intensity, just in ... wow, it's so hard to find a word to separate these two films... dark-power-of-the-mind way? I mean, having a paganesque Halloween full moon dance party while unbeknownst to any of them just a few feet away five of their classmates are literally playing with death? That's hot, yo.

Awesome Movie!!! And Awesome Song that just Fit The Movie❤
Seen this movie when It first came out as A Teenager and At 47 it's Still Amazing
Flatliners is my favorite movie. Rest in peace Joel Schumacher.
It's in my Top 5 as well. You have good taste. I'm still hurting over losing Schumacher.
Shame this song wasn't a success. It's catchy as Hell, and now because of _Flatliners_ , I play it around Halloween every year.
Official Halloween Party Anthem 😏😎😍

To be honest i'm not a fan of the screaming at the end.
