My husband was murdered in 1972. Shot with a high powered rifle while sitting in a restaurant. Slain by a total stranger. 28 years old. My daughter and I have lived 51 years with the mental torture of that nightmare. I think of him every time I listen to this masterful song. It inspired me to dig down deep in that dark hole and write. My ramblings go on and on. notebooks filled with words of pain and anger, lost time, dead dreams.
If only I had Bob's gift to create a masterpiece to so magnificently honor his time on earth.

My wish is to meet Mr bob Dylan and this is why. .. In a world of melodies and rhymes, Bob Dylan’s music transcends time. His lyrics deep, his voice unique, A legend in the music mystique.
To meet this icon, oh what a dream, To hear his stories, to see him gleam. His influence vast, his impact profound, In his presence, inspiration is found.
So let us sit, let us converse, With the man who made history traverse. To learn from him, to share a thought, In the presence of greatness, we’ll be caught.

I met Bob. He isn’t friendly. He doesn’t chat. When the concert started he nary said a word. He just sang. See what I did there? He “just” sang. That’s “all” he did. And he doesn’t chat with us. Why? Because he has given all his words to us through the years IN HIS SONGS. what else is there for him to say? He has told us everything: he loves us; he cares about the world we live in. He wants us to always strive to do and BE better! He has poured out his heart through the decades. And we want him to CHAT with us? The man doesn’t chat! He sings volumes!!!

Saw Dylan in 74' w/ the Band at the Spectrum. First concert since his motorcycle accident. I was so overwhelmed I wept. And almost 50 years later, I still weep. As only he could write this poetry and to be touched so deeply by his words.
I remember the day, Sister Harold knocked on our 2nd grade door and told us "the President has been shot go home." It was solemn, even then, we were all Irish Catholic kids named after Kennedys. The joy had left our life.and we did lose our soul as a nation, never to be found.
Thank you Mr Dylan. Your music changed my life. Thank you for writing this for your fans. Not a word or reference was lost on us.

A piano, a violin, ( maybe some cello]. soft background drums. So different without your guitar and harmonica. I will listen to this forever.
It’s a giant history lesson set to music.
You honor so many musicians and others that were so relevant in our country, and actors, and the Birdman of Alcatraz. You are an impossible act to follow, moonlight sonata in F sharp, I love every bloody line and chord and harmony.

My blood and blonde hair go off to you. Mahalo my genius for making my life worthwhile as we struggle through these changing times. Can’t express how important it is and I will teach it and have the students shut their eyes and teach what you are saying. Then they can draw abstract art to the piece. @@qislegit.donttrustthemedia6232 My family and family life was as close to perfect, loving, and supportive as one could ever hope to have. Because of that fact I am actually a very caring and empathetic human being. That being the case, what I stated is absolute fact. Nature and the Universe does not give a shit about human feelings, emotions, or thoughts. There is no "system" that enables or guarantees peace for all. Those admirable human notions and aspirations, if and when they are achieved come from the bottom up, not from the top down. The ideal is to have a system that allows most people to rise above their natural state. To give them a stake in the system. The mistake is in believing that unless there are no tragedies or travesties the system is beastly. Of course, something like Covid can come out of nowhere and wreck the publics faith in the very system they need to believe in. That is nature kicking in the door of our house of delusion that we are above it all. We are not, very trying and worrisome times ahead.

I remember I often listened to this song late at night making my last round..the mood suited the late hour and the empty streets...and I know all the stuff about Johnson and the blink on the plane, grassy knoll and all that. What a song!
I was born on 22.11.1954 and can still remember that day in 1963, it was my ninth birthday. It was afternoon here in Germany when the terrible news arrived. All the adults invited to our home were deeply shocked and went home immediately. Of course, as a child I didn't yet understand what this day meant in world history, but it stayed with me. Many people my age sometimes wish me a happy birthday even today because they remember the anniversary of Kenney's death. Bob Dylan has accompanied me my whole life with all his great lyrics and I have often attended his concerts. You know, I’m sitting here in Ireland during the covid-19 shutdown thinking: thank god for folk songs. By coincidence, Bob Dylan’s name is trending on twitter. I think the worst. But then, a miracle. A new song! But, it’s actually more of an opus. At first I think, 17 minutes on JFK - a bit much. But this is perfect. I’m lucky to have heard this on the day it was released. Went I’m sad, I think how lucky I have been to been alive while Bob Dylan was writing songs. Thanks for this, thanks for not giving up on us. On the truth.

I still have the copy of the Omaha World-Herald from the next day. Even so young I knew things would never be the same and history had forked. I would say that the timing of this song coming out now is perfect. I was never much of a Dylan fan. but I am grateful to him for this. So, what makes you believe the bankers game is over, when the Fed still exists in the 1913 law? But there was never any authority for the government in the Supreme Law of the Land document to create any central bank, much less one controlled by a private cartel of tiny oligarchs.
