Editor's Note: My edits were all made to keep the video on one, central topic by editing together relevant commentary from many parts of Hasan's streams to create a storyline that is still followable by the viewer. I also edited in commentary of my own in places, in addition to relevant external information that improves the viewing experience. A lot of edits were made for comedy purposes, or to enhance the comedic timing of certain beats, but never to misrepresent Hasan's point of view.
If you like my edits, leave a Comment, Like, and Subscribe. It helps a lot, thank you :)

cmon man, to say that the only thing that would be different after the taliban takeover is that you would have a different handler is cap. there is no due process, women have been excluded completely from public office and judiciary, women can't travel more than 75km with out a man. oh they also banned education for girls after sixth grade, so they're the only country in the world with restrictions on female education. i could go on, but you should be able to get the point. i hope you can get the point. it's pretty easy to see.
Hey love your videos. Why is the audiio cutting in and out intermittently throughout the video?

Yes Theory on a Hasanabi video, you are awesome guys.
Whenever I get too bummed out about the world I throw on a Yes theory video. Hard to believe how wholesome those guys are but their goodness at heart is undeniable.

In elementary school i had a friend from Afghanistan and his family could not have been nicer and yes the food was insane.
I did too! Her family was so sweet and would throw big birthday parties for her and her siblings and invite all of us from school, the neighbors, and like their whole family lol. They made a whole buffet of amazing food and also ordered pizza for the picky kids 😅 their house always smelled amazing. Her parents were older but they were still very active. I remember her dad would toss the football around with us even tho he had to be in his 60s lol. I loved going over there.
I'm Afghan but born and raised in the states, this video was really nice. My first memory alive was me in Afghanistan but it's also my only memory there because I haven't been there since I was a toddler. I say all that to explain that I thought this video was really nice to see and I hope one day there is peace so I can visit.
America can't handle how absolutely serene and beautiful this place is. Only independents can do it justice. Good on this guy. Stunning tour.
but again, it is an incredibly dangerous country which sucks
True true. I hope peace grows there.
His tour would be very different if he was a woman, all the time watching this bs I was angry at this male privilage, now it is for sure even worse

Damn, Afghanistan is really beautiful. The flowy clothes, the beautiful architecture. It has a romantic air to it. It's really too bad that as a woman I would never feel safe travelling there. Still, it's no wonder Westerners romanticized Afghanistan for years. If Afghanistan were just a little less totalitarian, especially with women, tourism could boom there.
That's the same thing I said. I could never have the type of wonderful experience that the makers of this video had as a woman.

Part 2 would be great
About the mosque rules - only about 20 years ago in the church in my central european rural village the sides were also split into men and women. Some churches had women on a different level. Not unable to see one another but still physically seperated. In the same place my grandma would also usually leave the house with a headscarf because it was just unseemly to not have a head cover. We shouldnt forget that not too long ago our society also had more rules and not judge people as if they were fundamentally different human beings.
People forget that one of the holiest places in orthodox christianity is literally an entire island where a woman "cannot step foot in". Wheres the hate there? Like it is a culturally important place where being a woman, literally aint allowed. Some ministers never seen a woman in their entire lives, and some are like 80-90 years old, kinda funny ngl but yeah.
Nah because the country still has medieval fundie rules not just the mosque
@@milan045difference is it isn't a whole country being ruled by religious fundies

I liked the comparison between trying hashish in Afghanistan and trying wine in France. Many cultures don't drink alcohol at all, but that doesn't mean we shame tourists for trying some champagne in Champagne, or a beer when visiting Germany, for example. In fact, we say "when in Rome...!"

You could make the argument that, Hasan’s statement he repeats constantly: saying that the militant groups in the Middle East only exist is because of western groups, is a racist one because it seems like he believes that these countries and their people are too weak to do evil on their own and need some sort of influence from the west. I’d argue that religious fundamentalist extremist militant groups would definitely still exist if the west never set foot in Afghanistan. I don’t get why he blames every global conflict on the west. Every ethnicity has the capability to kill, do war, etc.
i like hasan but he has no backbone and doesn't want to be antagonistic when it comes to hurting religious sentiments only when it comes to islam he has no problem with criticising christianity in the west but turn a blind eye to the most regressive, oppressive and conservative religion in the world
@@kamabakogonpachiro4842 Yes I think how Islam is practiced around the world goes against a lot of the things he preaches. I don’t think it’s a bad religion at its core but just the way its currently practiced is harmful to society and I don’t know why he doesn’t ever address that
@@Mark-qd1mz the rise of fundamentalist islam and islamic militant groups has a direct correlation with western involvement either anti communist efforts or previous colonisation the taliban are the best example they may not of been the force they are today if the US and Saud didnt fund their predecessor groups and the version of islam the taliban adhere to (deobandi sunnism) is a sect that arose solely from south asian muslims during British colonial rule

Afghanistan looks so lit from this, it’s a shame the taliban run everything now
There’s a RUclipsr called BlackManDaTraveller who went to Afghanistan and chilled with real TaIiban
Is this guy going to be fine criticising the Taliban like that?
ldk why hassan is joking about "ohh the taIiban banned good things" as if thats not explicitly true? Literally two IocaIs in the video were talking about how horribIe it was and how they banned basic freedoms like freedom to trim beard and have unique hairstyles, freedom for girIs to even Ieave the house or gonto schooI, and they even taIked about how they saw severed hands hung up in the town square
Why is Hasan insisting on making Iight of how horribIe the taIiban is when the literaI locals are saying it?
the chatter at 38:00 is absolutely Iying, tons of studies and surveys have been done on this and most afghans have stated they prefer the US over the taIiban, this is especially true amongst women and girIs who STILL are not allowed to work or go to schooI since the taI took over

It’s crazy how much better dressed people from this third world country are compared to Americans. It shows you don’t need to spend much money to look good.
I’m Afghan Californian, In the case of America in Afghanistan it’s the rare instance where America had a positive effect and almost succeeded. America propped up democracy and transformed the economic landscape of Afghanistan into modernity. It was impossible to visit til America intervened. Keep in mind Russia carpet bombed the country for 10 years 79-89 then 90-2001 Taliban Pakistanis invaded “civil wars.” So international intervention was very welcomed, definitely in the Farsi north half. America failed at attacking Taliban at its source aka Pakistan, resulting in a real chance for Afghans being lost. I’m still hopeful the next generation will make it happen and to to be fair the Taliban today appear more moderate relative to 90s talibs, still Afghans are in mourning. The country is being pumped of its resources by Pakistan & China while Saudi/Pakistani talibs act as an occupying force.

Afghanistan now is economically rising, they have some big projects incoming.. and it is safer than ever, n i will say, safer than most of the countries iv visited.. the job the current governament did in 2 years, is miraculous, and anyone who is not bias will have to salute them about that.
The western media is focusing on WOMANS EDUCATION, as it is the only factor that makes a country better. but they gave reasons for spliting Education into , Boys schools, and girls schools, and it is a religious reason. and they say that, now they dont have enough money to build universities for women.. so they are slowly step by step making changes , working with the small budget they have... so i guess the west should stop putting their dirty hands again , and let us see the results the taliban can bring.
And FOR SURE, the taliban are better for afghanistan than AMERICA.
thats a no brainer... , One , because they are not corrupted (they wont steal peoples money), Second, They know what afghans want regarding their religion and culture.

The Bible and the Koran are both right about Men and Women and their roles in the family and in society. Surprisingly to some this leads to BOTH Men AND Women self-reporting themselves to being significantly happier overall. Sadly, there isn't any putting the 19A back in the bottle without a societal collapse and/or the West being taken over by a power that isn't hamstrung by women being in positions of power(such as a Muslim country).
