- "We say hello to a brand new month and a brand new year. It's been a busy week 1 in the studio, but I've been making time to enjoy the winter sunshine and embark on exploring new crafts. Come join me in the studio, where we can create some intriguing and fun embossed decorations.
We'll also take a walk down to frozen boglands and gaze into the starry night skies.

Good morning from Canada....I just wanted to tell you that your kitties basking in the winter sun reminded me of what I taught the special needs children that I work with the other day , and that is that you need to learn something new everyday ! Often when we are out at recess during -18c weather they come over complaining , I tell them to face the sun and soak up the little bit of warmth it gives off even on the coldest of days . It turns out there is a word for that winter, sunny warmth , and that word is "" APRICITY ""......see even at 65 I'm not too old to learn either !!! enjoy the apricity kitties

Lola , a ginger and Skinny Minny a black beauty with the softest fur......I said I would never , ever get a cat , and I didn't , they came to the our door mid winter and never left.....don't know how we ever lived without them . We put up posters and checked with SPCA but no one claimed them so we did !!! love your vids , keep well @@LostForest

It looks cold but beautiful! We finally got snow here in NY, just a dusting, but it makes such a difference. Loved how cozy the studio and farmhouse look, and that teacup is amazing, reminds me of something my mother would have given me too! Very beautiful. Thank you Gillian for another charming video. Farming is extremely exhausting work. Makes me reflect on our forbears who farmed using oxen, horses and brute strength. There would have been little rest. Hence large families to help.

Thank you! We had a little damage to trees, but thankfully not much else, except losing power for a few days and water. Other parts of the country were hit a lot worse 🙏✨💕

Thank you Meredith, it’s been pretty bad, power outages and no water. We luckily have a diesel generator for the milking machine but we’re bracing for another storm to hit today 😞

They stay for a good few hours to get the vital colostrum from their mom. Cows are very social creatures and have strong bonds with their friends in the herd, so they are very eager to return to them after calving!💕

I put a breadcrumb on top of the chop and add a drizzle of olive oil and cook in the oven for 35 mins. The breadcrumb is blitzed bread with pepper, salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder and chives 🥰✨🙌

So what is Mr. Pup's story?
He was an abandoned pup, and he appeared on our farm one day after wandering in the countryside for weeks. He was in a bad way and very scared but we cared for him and he asked us if we’d like to keep him forever, so of course we agreed 😅💕🐕✨
