- During the Top Marques 2015 in Monaco this year I have filmed the Radical RXC Turbo 500 with a V6 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. It produce 530HP and goes from 0-100 km/h in 2,4 seconds!

don't blame the guy for struggling so much. The clutch on these are so heavy and they do not enjoy going slow at all
Thats something i was wondering, do these have a manual clutch pedal or is it a dual clutch sequential

@@Nickoboss29 no, its sequential, you just need the clutch for First gear and to stop. Between this its like an automatic. Its a street Legal racecar

Same Gearboxes are used in racingclasses like
GT3, GTE, F1, 2, 3 (clutchpedals at the rear of the steeringwheel), LMP 3,2,1
Its also Common in Rallye (in all groups except Oldtimers)
So Radical choose this transmission to be the best, because of quick shifttimes (Not as quick as latest twinclutch transmissions) but its also Good to bring the Engine Power without any leak of Power to the rear wheels, wich would be Not the case with a TC transmission (huge powerloss).
In fact a twinclutch transmission would also be to big and Heavy for this car, since sequential gearboxes weight nearly only the half of an auto transmission witch also needs much more parts.
So you always have to use the shiftpedals! No „selfshifting“ even in rev-limitter 😅😇

I love this car, it’s really a crazy car and the company itself entirely is for the car guy who loves racing. It’s a niche audience but it won’t cost you as much as a fancy mansion in Greece or Monaco.
Think about 150k is okay for such an amazing thing!

Was a fail, but it sounded so awesome when it came back on. Definitely doesn't like to be driven slowly.
This still will forever remain my favorite car.
on public roads this is impractical shit. 0 to 60 in 2.4 secs, to find reverse gear about 35 secs!

Really.....Mmm interesting statement by some who obviously knows nothing, I think you need to do your research pal..! The British built Radical currently holds the lap record round the Nurburgring with a 6.48 lap time, which just beat the previous lap record of 6.55, also held by a Radical. Currently the 6th fastest car around the Nurburgring is the 1996 McLaren F1, so I'm not to sure what your on about..!
This Radical RXC Turbo 500 is also planning to do the Nurburgring, which I can guarantee it will blitz..!
Bouncing it off the limiter or almost stalling does not make for a good video. Looked like Plebs amateur hour.

This is such an awesome car. Proper race car made to just have it run on the public road.
Its probably a dog to live with, extreme loud/rough shifting (non synchro straight cut dogbox), super grabby clutch and totally useless gearing for the public road, but on the track you need a totally different set of characteristics and this car has it all. I wouldnt be surprised if radical should test it on the nordschleife it would knock off 20 sec or more from the current lamborghini production car record if driven on the same tires.
The air shifter is really cool sounding.

Probably a fault in the pneumatic system of the gear change (paddleshift) is audible the "PFSSST" but no engagement, it is probable a leak of air in the system! But...
