We've been going back and forth with buying a OSMO 3 but are a bit upset that the vertical video is not 4k and that our DJI Mics that we picked-up last year won't work with it. We'll probably give in at some point, hoping a firmware update with fix the mic issue.
The mic thing's a bummer indeed, but I won't be bothered too much by the vertical 3k since IG and TikTok compress footage quite hard anyway. I only posts reels - shorts, TikToks in 1080p anyway
You can shoot vertical in 4K. Just hold the Pocket 3 horizontal and the gimbal will automatically turns vertical, even if you film in 4K120fps. It's as simple as that.

Always continuous, but it can't hunt a little bit sometimes depending on the situation
