This documentary has taken four years back. The same thing has happened two weeks before. Greedy manush didn't care about the nature mother. Those who do that kind of abuse to the mother nature they never get affected. Only those poor people and the labourers are getting affected.it's a nice documentary. Thank you The Hindu. ❤

I'm from Idukki and I can say the day time temperature are getting extremely high and nights are getting extremely cold. The tree cover is decreasing day by day.
We used to have paddy fields now the land is just barren, several landslides have occurred near to our ancestral house all because of the loss of tree cover and soil mining..!

Thank you The Hindu team, this documentary lighten the environmental ignorance in many minds, and initiate a process among people to team up against unsustainable environmental policies.
The present governments are acting like colonial powers. For Colonial governments the only focus is the profits for their mother country at the cost of colonies. Similarly present governments are treating the Forests as their colonies.
Making poor environmental and unsustainable policies is not less than the British rule.
The freedom struggle against the deforestation has begun, and this triggering incident is not less than 1857 sepoy mutiny, but now the sepoy is the mighty Wester ghat.
More than politicians it's the people who get effected by Nature's fury.
