I've parked the Road King and I have headed up a Volcano in Mexico on foot ! not the smartest idea at High altitude of 11,000 ft ! I really feel the effects and become dizzy and totally lost with no GPS signal ! Is this the end for Million Dollar Bogan ?

Way to go to alienate your audience. You can ride your Harley the way you do because you have the funds to do so. I'd love to ride mine like you do yours, but it takes me close to a decade to buy a Road King straight up. That's why I look after mine. Not because I don't ride it like it should be ridden- I'm just not an arrogant yuppie. Be a little humble mate.

Yea not everyone has $50k to drop on a whim or the time to go overseas riding for 3 months. " Get off the couch and ride your bike". "Stop watching Netflix and get out there" umm i do everyday....to work no matter what the weather. Does he? Of course not. He doesn't realise that a lot watching have ridden for longer and are more experienced than he is. Buying a harley 3 yrs ago and riding it off road a few months of the year does not make you a biker. Using it as your main transport does. He needs to tone down the judgement along with the arrogance. Like you say humble up a little. I don't see any chance of that though
I’ve been following since day one and even I’m starting to see a (side) of Danny that’s actually making my depression worse, like the almost arrogance behind the tipping references and the need to mock the lack of English when asking for HELP to fix a part of the bike that should really have been planned for when riding the distances he is, the areas could have been reduced right across the board if he knew or had a list of places along the routes that could be utilised for tyres, oil etc along route, not bashing just would have reduced his stress.
@@sheppardpaul529 the second Mexico series is a waste of time. I'd rather watch a travel doco about Mexico on Netflix and actually get something out of it. Nothing but Danny complaining about Tolls, not speaking Spanish, and speaking fluent Whingrish.

I like the simple way you connect with the audience by telling us what you're thinking and feeling, warts and all, just your genuine biker experience. I'm an older biker, you remind me of so many of my own experiences and that makes me smile and encourages me to keep on keeping on, motorbikes are a great hobby.

Danny does stuff that I find funny, sometimes just ridiculous, sometimes obviously just looking for content like this episode, but entertaining just the same. Sometimes I relate to his experiences, I've been there, done that. Best of all, Danny makes me laugh, one way or another.

Look man we are here and curious how your trip goes, you don't need to be dramatic to make us watch the next episode. It's just a bit much. What's crazy is when V is with him he doesn't whine as much or doesn't show it. She kind of keeps him in check. I'm just tired of the whole oh it's not dangerous here just fear mongering and then he says the cartel laid a body in the street and all these road side crosses are from the cartel. Maybe stop to think that the road side crosses are there from accidents cuz the roads suck. Danny, that Rear Tire will be fine Mate, It,s Load rated to 850 lb and 168mph , you have 2 Tires that are taking the weight so you can nearly double the 850 lb to 1700 lb ,, which is about 770 kg ,so all should be good.👍,just keep a eye on your Battery, it sounds a little weak at start up ,,,,All the best Mate ,I am heading on a 900k Ride this weekend on my GSX1400 all going well 👌

Danny. Near half the weight of your bike will be taken by the front wheel . Therefore your back tire will only be getting about 500lb. Plenty safe.

That’s not how weight ratings are worked out. Don’t forget, the total weight of the bike etc is distributed between both the front and rear tyre. Not all the weight goes on just the rear
Tire is fine for your load. Don’t worry about it. It’s a touring tire not a race tire. Actually does great in the rain. Stop fussing over it. As far as that volcano walk how the heck did you go off the trail. Have done that trail twice before and the trail is wide and well marked. Be safe. It’s a beautiful view once you get to the top. Enjoy.

OMG Danny has no idea about mechanical things and tyre's BUT he admits that time and time again, glad to see he read my explanation about tyre blow outs, anyway tyre loading is shared the front carries weight and the rear carries weight he needs to sit on the bike with each wheel on scale's and weigh the front and weigh the back.
Or just put on the recommended tyres!😆
In the real world he would put the correct tyre on he's never scrimped on spending there were no tyres available his mistake was leaving it too late to get it done but he admitted that
Some years ago I could visit the other great volcano in Mexico called "Popocatepetl", beautiful mountain, and its forest. I had also problems with the lack of oxygen because of the altitude. Danny, ride safe and continue your great adventure!
Popocatepetl is 1000m higher than La Malinche. And you are in good company, because Popocatepetl was also climbed by the infamous Che Guevara.
Danny I agree 100% with you on the tire pressure...I religiously check mine every Sunday morning before riding 40 rear and 36 front! That's a beautiful town and a super looking old hotel. Ride safe brother and I know you are having fun.

When driving an 18 wheeler semi truck or even a 40 wheeler like they have in Michigan USA and in Australia road trains.. . Say you are supposed to run 100 PSI or 110 PSI you might not notice a low tire as easily where dual ties are run.
After running down the highway for a while , all you have to do is put your hand on each tire .. It one tire feels warner than the other tires .. you know it has low tire pressure.
You can also carry a tire checker.. It's a minnie baseball bat .. and hit each tire..
I carry a full sized baseball bat to cheack my tires .. as it makes a good self defense weapon too .

Wow wow wow !! loving this series . Agree about the roads . Have ridden in Bolivia and they have similar roads or lack of them . Those octagonal slabs used as a road surface are lethal , they move and wear out . It was like being off road most of the time . Fantastic country though . You are nailing it !
