- Kagaku Sentai Dynaman was one of the best seasons we've covered so far, but Choudenshi Bioman's popularity and fame is on a whole different level compared to the seasons that came before. Is it overrated or does it really live up to the hype?

Bioman was great series for it’s time when it came out

When I first watched this when I was 8 years old, I had no idea how ridiculous “Dr. Man” sounded. It’s like how some guys get random Asian words as tattoos. The English just sounded cool to non-English speaking ears.

Bioman isn’t just overrated but a series that outdid itself. With dark story telling that dared to explore the dark side of man and the responsibilities they didn’t take for their action. It is almost the prototype of many series to come such as Liveman, Megaranger and Gobusters.
Bioman is the first to have a yellow female with two female members as well. The actress who left as Miki got her first appearance in Tokusatsu as Space Police Helen in Sharivan. The mystery of her disappearance can always be discussed by Machiko Makino (Pink 5)Who is very active in the fan base.
It hinted a 6th member twice with Magne Warrior who is played by Future Juspion actor and also he actually met his future wife(Farrah) in the series. The two would retire from the industry and would ran a Scuba Diving business. Sadly Yōko Asuka(Farrah) passed away from Cancer.
Silva, though he is a antagonist. His design is almost close to a Bangai hero. If you look at him closely. Silva do look like Hakaider.
The weapons Bioman has is actually one but it is two as their bio Sword is the practical gun and dagger set up similar to the Ranger Sword and Gun in Zyuranger.
Shirō Goh (Red One) would be the basis of many dramatic military Reds as the over rated Ryu Tendō is based on.
See them then and later....
Ryusuke Tsukamoto (Red One) no other Super Sentai roles but he did appear in a episode of Kamen Rider Black and would play Goh once again on Gokaigers.
Yukari Ōshima (Farrah Cat) had a successful career doing Hong Kong action movies.
Iura Hidenori(Prince) was a regular in Goggle V as Computer Boy 1 and his last appearance was a regular on Solbrain
Munemaru Kōda (Doctor Man) would return as a madman once again as Goma 14 on Dairanger.
In the end and after Toei allowed cross overs. I would have loved to see Byclossers and Nebula Mask Machineman to have a crossover team up with and on Bioman.
Megaranger and bioman and jetman and zyuranger are great sentais😊
I watched Biomen and I really liked it! The effort and the story are all very good plus the vfx of 1985. Monster was a wrestler (you can tell by the scars on his forehead).
The best show yet, and the best video yet. Fantastic job as always but on a different level to before!

I like to think that Yuki Yajima wasn't in the 10th episode was because that the acting agency she was with went bankrupt so for legal reasons she couldn't appear on screen, for fear that she might get hurt while filming and would sue Toei. I'm not sure if it was Yuki who still provided her voice in episode 10 or someone just dubbing her over, but if it was her, that would explain why she was in suit the entire time. But that's just a fan theory that did the rounds, that or she ran off with one of the producers which apparently happens a lot in Japan, though this is the only time I've personally heard of it. Thank you for doing justice, the Sentai series from when I was born. :)
You can freelance in Japan without an agency, though it's hard to do so but if she already was in a show and her agency folded she would have been able to stay on a freelancer since she was already cast. The problem was definitely on Yajima's end, according to some of the cast she just stopped showing up one day and nobody on staff could ever find her for the rest of their time on the show.
@@bob1986 Toei wouldn't have used freelancers due to fear of being sued in case of an accident while filming. This is why Toei set up their own union or use others to avoid any legal repercussions in case such an event happens. Maybe there is some truth to the first theory, especially if a different actress played her voice in episode 10.
@@David315842 A difference actress played her voice since like episode 6 because she just stopped showing up one day before ADR was done for those episodes.
@@bob1986 OK, I wasn't aware of that, but that would make sense, they would often film at different times with the on screen actors and the suit actors, so she disappearing straight after her scenes were filmed would have merit. Thank you for telling me.

The Conscience Circuit remind me of kikaider and silver looks like Hakaider.

There is something I feel weirdly enough. Episode 1 of the most of Sentai for me starts dark with big impact. However the more character focus episode it is I feel less. Than finale happens in which point I mostly stop carring.

Marvelous in Red I would recommend posting the videos to dailymotion or unlist them and upload the redirect link on the RUclips upload or try to edit the footage or cut down on the use of it because most of the video has footage from the show and toei doesn’t care for fair use on RUclips even though you’re using fair use

Someone submitted a copyright strike on my video, from a troll email account which has a history of submitting copyright strikes against small creators. I submitted a counter notification which took around two weeks to process before they restored my video.
