Because they take place during two episodes of the series and talks about events the series don't mention. The basic rule of a series, it's each numeroted episode is important for the plot's continuity.

So I looked it up, and according to TV Tropes, his reason for why he told the Gorangers his weakness and why he decided to go challenge them is because he was aware of the weakness but decided "screw that, I'm the master of my own destiny".
He does say something to that effect in the episode, but it doesn't make it any less stupid. If he had gone on any other, the Gorengers would have been defeated and he would have been free to rule the world.
I still kinda wish that they actually showed us how Tsuyoshi, Akira, Daita, Peggy, and Kenji actually got their powers. All we saw was that they were the sole survivors of the Black Cross Army’s attacks and immediately was cut to them training with their Goranger powers.

The Gorenger manga (one of them anyway, there were actually two by Ishinomori) does explain why Akarenger's suit looks a bit different; it turns out it was the prototype the other suits were based on. Random bit of trivia, allegedly the reason Peggy is "Momorenger" and not "Pinkurenger" so because momo can be short for "futomomo," and the staff thought Lisa Komaki had very nice thighs
It's nice to see someone spell it right. Though why they don't say how they can transform without a transformation device, they do explain why they need a calm and focused mind to transform. Also it's 64 that the ending theme changes, not 65.
After watching a couple of seasons of super sentai non chronologically I decided to watch everything else in order and just started watching Goranger, also love Kiranger, definitely my favorite and had no idea about his end, very sad to hear, but hey, excelent video and can't wait tp also watch every season and then come here to see what you have to say about them

Need to correct you on one thing there; Daita wasn't dumb. yeah he did struggle with word puzzles and riddles, but he was quite good with mathematics and mechanics, which is how he created his little YTC radio device. Other then that, everything else was pretty spot on and you succeeded where Linkara failed in one aspect. You respected the Sentai. (Maybe in future installments you would just simply use still frame images instead of 'copyright shield' in big red letters, but that's up to you). Great job though. :) Linkara: I hate Power Rangers, but I love Bulk and Skull. Also you do know that Marcosatsu only commented on your video with a single letter right?!
AH i see you too are a fan of daita, a common trope i've noticed in sentai was that more often than not yellow will be "best boi/girl". Also respec for starting from Gorenger like me, i managed to binge both kamen rider and sentai in the span of one year.
This was a great review. This might come as a surprise to you but Goranger is actually my favorite sentai along with Flashman and Dairanger. When I first got into Sentai Goranger stood out to me the most because it was the original and it’s were the franchise started. It show also had certain charm to it that no other sentai had.
Surprisingly Momoranger got alot to do and she's great in my opinion, especially compared to the pink rangers for the next five seasons that have pinks

Maybe it would be helpful if you could do the anniversary movies along with the season that it's a part of or do it the year when it was released in a mini part if it's interesting enough to put in a video(I know the first reunion was a jetman special not too long after the series ended, though you could say gorenger and jakq was the first crossover and reunion for the seasons). It would be cool if you could cover the reunion specials as well.
If you don't know, Thuy Trang, who played Trini in MMPR sadly passed away in a car accident in 2001, meaning we've lost both of the first yellow rangers for Sentai and PR.

I'm definitely unsure on my favourite Sentai. I want to say Gokaiger, but I also love Timeranger, Gekiranger and others. The only Kamen Rider show I've watched in full is Geats, and I loved it.
To be fair, I don't know if it is because my age or something else, but I can't just watch those Sentai, Riders and old Tokusatsu shows, the early years just look ridiculous in my eyes. The costumes are ugly, the characters are lame, the monsters are worse than now, the series itself aged like milk (At least is not that crappy as Battle Fever). The true Sentai evolution started with Liveman and Jetman. You're doing good for humanity watching this shows so people doesn't have to.

Himitsu Sentai Gorenger is pretty much a Kamen Rider Squadron (S.H.I.E.L.D. type heroes) vs. a Hydra like Kaiju super-criminal organization. And I love it for that premise alone.
my my, what do we have here. now this video series is gonna be something great i can tell. goranger for me was always a comfort food kinda show; whenever i had a spare hour id just put on an ep or two of this to fill the void, a purpose which it suits perfectly, but binging the whole thing is just taxing, at least the ost is good. from a personal viewpoint i feel that sentai's most consistantly great period is the 80s to the 90s, which obviously some good stuff before and after, but itll be instereting to see someone who actually cares about this stuff discussing them in-depth like this. looking forward to more, just a shame that approximately 84 people are gonna watch this series until you get to jetman.
I'm very excited to continue this series. I've been thinking and planning for the past 2 years. This really is a passion project for me. The JAKQ script is fully written, so I'll be recording it soon.

I'm pretty much taking the Linkara route. If I try to schedule them, I'll just end up putting way too much pressure on myself. I do want to release them as soon as possible though.
