Huge thanks Dmah for this tuto ! May I congratulate you for showing your honnest and nice realisation on this move. Sometimes seeing always pro and high level tricksters (like Andy lol) can be discouraging even if it's beautiful to see) It's like they're always perfect. Your tips are awesome and could I add that understanding and practicing the blocking technic (transforming horizontal momentum into vertical) is an essential key to boost your jump, and so helps reaching an amazing aerial ! Good luck to everyone
I love the way you walk us through the process step by step, your so inspiring and you make me believe I can achieve these beautiful movements with determination and commitment. Thank you Dmah 💪🙏
Years and years ago I watched a tutorial by a Shaolin monk. He basically said "Do a cartwheel. Do it with one hand. Do it with no hands." He wasn't wrong but this is far more useful for a novice such as I!
Incredible! You are really truly amazing. You all are. Thank you for some real motivation. Watch this 40yo with 3 kids learn this Ariel. Sooo cool. Thank you again.
This is a good tutorial! I just started drilling cartwheels again after a few years, and this reminded me of a few tips. Also, you look handsome with a goatee! 🙂
I recently tried doing an aerial after a while of not training them and was also in the same boat in that it was not as good (though never as clean as yours) so your tutorial is very timely cheers!
I haven't done one of these in over five years, I was just thinking over the weekend that I'd try and get back to practicing it. What are the chances that the same day I was going to start, you guys release a video about it?!
I (Dmah) admire what the movie attempts to do- namely how it dares to traverese several genres, kind of like wuxia meets Silence of the Lambs. I think it ultimately gets caught in an awkward in between but does have a lot of memorable moments! We love all of Donnie's outings!
I've been working on this trick all summer and one thing tutorials never mention is to whip that back leg around after the front leg. I was really held back by that for a while because I didn't know how to make my cartwheel faster.
I'mma have to try this! I've recently gotten the 1-hand cartwheel, now for more reps! Thanks for the inspiration Dmah. Another topic: how do you guys do your sweep kicks? I've only learned one style, and I see you guys in MartialClub planting your knee? Just curious about it. Thanks again!
I personally feel that are various sweep techniques that come into play depending on the situation. If I'm doing kung fu or wushu, I sweep on the ball of my foot where as when I trick, I like to sweep on my knee for greater balance while adding more momentum, building up to the next trick. Similar but distinct variations of the same sweep techniques!
@@MartialClub imma have to try this, too. So much to play around with and experiment with! Just wish work was shorter so I'd have more time... Thanks for the reply!
Wow! Thanks for the tutorial! Actually I'm afraid because I don't feel safe with my head upside down. But thanks a lot! It will help me! (I'm not against another tutorial ahah) Take care!
One thing I forgot to mention is that you can keep your eyes on the ground the WHOLE time you're upside down! That makes this flip less intimidating than other flips!
Interesting approach. Totally different to how I learned Au sem Mao in Capoeira, though. We try to keep it a lot tighter and horizontal, for the sake of the Roda. That said, your aerial is better than my sem mao, heh.
@@MartialClub The back flip, it's hard to get over the fear, I also have a problem with the middle splits and I've seen your videos on it but for some reason every time I get into my middle split I struggle to get into it again; I was wondering if you have any advice
Daniel Mah I am working on Aerial twist and I have been doing Wushu for 8 years. You are a HUGE inspiration for me to get my Kung fu better. More of my Wushu on my channel.
