    The #1 thing that helped me was to spot the ground where my foot will land. Before, I was spotting where my hands would land in a cartwheel, which made it hard to avoid touching my hands even when I had enough height/rotation to land properly.

    Sweet! The blocking technique will help a lot, when I try to do mine, my hands feel really light, but it ends up looking like how you did it when you demonstrated jumping forwards too much. I'll give it a shot later on.

    Well done and thank you for making this tutorial! I saw here many aspects I have never seen in the other tutorials on youtube. Sad, never made this move. Funny thing is, that carthwheel with two or hand is super easy for me and I always had a perfect form. Well maybe after a while I will give another try to finally learn it. Looks always so awesome.

    Hi GNT ! First thank you so much for this video this is really helpful , i just wanted to ask you some questions :
    1- Do you recommand trying this move even though i'm a begginer ? ( i'm very flexible but i don't have any skills really other than front/back walkover )
    2- How do you manage to keep your legs straights and far appart during this move ? I'm really flexible but whenever i'm doing this move i just notice that my legs are bent and like not very far awar from each others, not in a split , which i can easily do on the ground and i can't help myself from doing that,may be because of fear
    Your answer would mean a lot to me as I struggle with this move for months! thanks :)

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster
      @GingerNinjaTrickster  8 лет назад +1

      Yes and work on the stages and with practice the move will keep improving :)

    Hey GNT! you should add how difficult the movement is (at least for you), so begginers can see wether its too hard or not, and maybe how much time should it take to get the movement straight, so the newbies (as me) don't get dissapointed too soon! haha nice video as always

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster
      @GingerNinjaTrickster  9 лет назад +2

      +Sebastian Codecido Some moves are hard for people and some find them easier to learn so I prefer to just teach the move and the progressions are there to build up to it if need be :)

    One thing I would like to know about the aerial is, if it is the same technique/principle that is used when it is done without stretched out legs, which make it look like what one might call a side flip??

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster
      @GingerNinjaTrickster  7 лет назад

      It would be considered a side flip by some I guess. I would call it a tucked aerial or webster side flip :)

    • @renehenriksen1735
      @renehenriksen1735 7 лет назад

      Ginger>>>> OK I thought there was some similarities. I´ve watched both in slowmotion and compared them. Looks to me that the way the momentum is generated looks almost the same allthough the sideflip looks like you don´t use the arms so much maybe because the legs is folded and momentum is easier generated because you make yourself smaller than in the aerial...
