I like it. There are a lot of recipies from Asian countries, that include ingredients which are very difficult to come by in my area. By very difficult I mean impossible. But this one is one of those that does not require anything crazy at all! Even Wok is not needed. So I think that's defenitley something I can add to my repertoire. In fact, I'm probably going to try it on my folks this weekend in place of the classic Sunday Roast :). I think it's going to blow their mind. Also - I can not believe I just now discovered this channel. It's got everything I like. Authentic recipies, and a very nice chef to boot! Could watch her cook everyday :)

Have you ever made the Sui Gow dim sum dumpling? Originally it was from Hoy Ping, Toi Shan district in Guandong area Originally, it was not a water dumpling or the ChuiChow versions, but made and served like Ha Gow with the same type of wrapper and steamed. Now, it seems most folks have forgotten it so it may be lost in history. A video with your Souped Up Recipe would be great!!!

I've been generally disappointed with local Chinese restaurants here in Oslo, Norway. Your channel really upped my wok game in the kitchen. I agree about tender succulent meat. I think any Vegan would have a nervous breakdown if she tried being my girl.

Try adding a splash of balsamic vinegar for the tangy taste unless you have Chinese black vinegar in the cupboard

LOL! Lu rou fan, the pork in cut smaller. This one is bigger and it is often served in between a white bun too.
