Tifa is very good, though I don't believe she is quite as good as Aerith, who in my opinion, steals the show on this banner. I very rarely recommend people to pull without waiting to see what will come next, but I might just be making an exception in this case!!

The weapons helped me clear Leviathan EX1 (didn't try EX2 yet) and Bahamut EX2 - finally. \^^/
PS. Tifa's Kirin costume is almost the same as in Monster Hunter world. (I'm not sure if you farmed the MHW costume too).
The knee pads are new, the pants are shorter but also cover the hips and butt more,
and the headpiece doesn't turn her hair white. But both versions look very good.

I would love to see them add the limited banner weapons to the golden ticket exchange. That would atleast make it so newer player could have the ability to have limited weapons they may not have been around for.

Now THIS is the utility I was looking for in Aerith. I gotta pull for this costume! I have no interest in the bikini banners, but I might be sacrificing Vincent’s first costume and I can live with that. I’ll just save my draw tickets for him 😅🔥

I'm so proud of you that you became the top FF7 Ever Crisis creator here. I was following before you even showed your face, your oldschool dungeon ranking tutorials were super helpful.
I got to OB5 for Aerith's weapon on 42K crystals, and used weapon parts to finish it off to OB6.
It's beautiful. I hadn't pulled on an Aerith costume since the opening Summer outfit :O

Great review. I always watch your and Octo's pull or skip videos. I went for Aerith at first because I didn't have a single costume for her, at the end went 3 pages and got both costumes, Aerith weapon at OB3 and Tifa Weapon at OB6 with help from some weapon parts. Now at 21k crystals saving for Vincent, pulling there for his costume if it's good, everything else goes in September. Oh and with Tifa's costume I now have an arcanum for every element.

I love the in-depth analysis of these banners. I had about 60-62k crystals to start yesterday and managed to get through page 1 on only 4 pulls (including 5* versions of both weapons). I think I will continue to pull for the 2nd costume at this point and hoping to get at least Tifa's to OB 4/5 by then.

I was very lucky. I planed go for costume only and with 18k crystals I got OB2 Aerith weapon too. So I tought grab 2 guaranteed from another page and boost it over time but got additional 1 so OB5. I had 200 weapon specyfic parts so I went straight for OB6. In sum I burnt 27k crystals.

I think character weapons parts are a lot rarer for f2p players than you were guestimating. Up until last month (where I finally broke down and purchased a premium season pass just to get the crystals and vouchers), I was 100% f2p. My copies of Zack's half anniversary sword (OB5) and Tifa's guide gloves (OB4) haven't been upgraded since their respective events ended because the parts for those characters are just so freaking rare (obviously the devs want you to buy them). I did manage to get the Zidane and Kuja swords upgraded to OB2 with a combination of character and leftover weapon parts, but that happened exactly once months ago and they've been OB2 ever since (very, very few Cloud and Sephiroth parts are made available for f2p). So I really wouldn't recommend people go into these limited banners expecting to get their weapons to OB6 unless they have the crystals to really go deep (and have fantastic luck) or can buy extra parts. Even if you get a limited weapon to OB5 like I did for Zack, you might never get it to OB6 later on with parts. (Here's hoping we'll be able to wishlist them in the 1-year anniversary draws!)
Yeah, i mean i think i'm pretty clear on these facts. I never recommend people to pull on banners that you need OB6 on if you have less than 60K crystals. Personally, i wouldnt have taken those weapons to OB2 (better to save weapon parts until you have the total amount needed to go from wherever you are to OB6, then reevaluate if they are still worth it so you aren't abandoning a weapon after putting parts into it)
And for a F2P char to pick up 200-400 weapon parts i estimated 3-6 months. I dont think i'm far off.
But yeah i recommend never actually pulling for OB6 always stop at 4-5 depending on playstyle and amount of parts saved, etc.
Aeriths weapon is SO GOOD with her costume! That thing was my trump card in beating the new EX stages in both single and co-op. That dual Rathalos fight was so fun!

Yeah that's what i hear, though I dont think pulling for things like this is really an apt strategy for long term gameplay unless you're a dolphin or whale

Spending 12K for aerith costume. And I got OB3 for kirin glove, very tempting. And now I chase the second stamp to got the costumes. Maybe it 30K++ / 40K to spend this. Wooh I am happy for it

Of course I always consider this lol. My review is made in the assumption she gets a lightning boost weapon. And I never said her weapon wasn’t good, it’s just not as good as Zack’s and not as versatile as Aerith’s 🙏🏽
@@BodhiJMSRyder oh i didn’t mean to imply that you implied that her weapon is bad. I meant to imply that you would advocate spending more resources on this weapon if she gets a lightning boost weapon soon similar to feather gloves. Guess I was wrong hahaha
Ohhhhh haha ok fair enough. Well she will definitely be powerful for sure. And I still may chase her OB6 ngl but with Aerith taking priority and so many things on the horizon it’s hard to balance between want and need and saving for the insane things to come in the future haha 😁
I went ALL in on the new banner! I was really hoping Tifa would get a magic lightning and I am so glad I decided to wait!
I spent all 50 of my special tickets and about 80k gems.
Overall I would say my luck was average. Stamps were not so hot, a lot of x1/x2 and only 3-x3. 3 pulls were all blue balls, and a good number of them were blue balls with 1 or 2 purps.
I pulled on 4 cards(Currently sitting at 3/12 on the 4th card) Here are my highlights:
-Tifas gloves OB6(one of the Guaranteed weapons gave 3 COPIES!)
-Aeriths weapon OB2
-Ultimatic OB10
-Rose Musket OB3
-Cait Siths Flower Vase from OB3 to OB6
I did get a good number of wishlist items so I am not complaining.

So I kinda blew my load on this. I completed card 2 on both collab banners. However, zack aerith and tifa ob6 with supplementing weapon parts.
Down to 4k blue, although I'm yet to do the latest dungeon and the 2 latest story content, I think I still have a lot to claim still

Its hard. I cant really make up mind with this collab. No lightning arcanum missed clouds by 1 stamp. Now here's 2, 1 phys the other mag. Both Zack and Tifa have helped clear alot of content and I use both characters No heal suit for aerith other than the free gear voucher one. Only 1 outfit for Zack(LB) and Tifa(Rebirth). Vincent(Favorite Character) and summer banners are right around the corner. 1st anni little after. Enough Zack BP to 0B6 from OB4, Tifa OB6 from OB5, Cloud/Aerith to Base 5* from 3/4*. F2P currently skipped alot of banners to be now sitting at a little over 120k. Luck since launch bad - just okay.
At 120K for you currently i would pull for Cloud's sword and costume then stop. Same thing for Aerith. Single copies of both their weapons on these banners are still fantastic. Then save for Anniversary, and you could prob even drop 30K for Vincent along the way and still be safe.

I pulled hard on the other banner but I think I'm going to pull one time on this banner and hopefully get a 3 or 4 star aerith weapon to unlock with weapon parts. Med to high at 5 stars is cracked. ESpecially with heal boost and heal all materia slots.
Its absolutely insanely good and worth the parts 100%
That Aerith weapon is Nuts, combine with her new custome = Broken, Another proof that ever crisis developer loves Aerith so much, they gave her another S tier weapon and costume 😂😂😂

Oh yea I forgot to mention I did do 2 pulls on the Cloud/Zack banner just to try to get 1 copy of Cloud's sword and I did manage to get it! 1 copy I feel is totally worth going for since it boosts attack and lowers def to mid *thumbsup*

I actually like how they balanced Aeriths weapon. While OB6 is probably the sweat spot, even OB10 is nice. The higher you go, the longer her buffs and debuffs last, meaning unless the enemy debuffs your team, you can basically do what ever you want between rebuffs. At OB10 her buffs last 62s(!) you could easily cast 4 (4 ATB) casts and then be ready to just rebuff everyone. Insane.
But it's likely not needed for 90% of the content, but surely handy for EX/Crash battles.

Thanks for the video and recommendations Bodhi! One question, I'm definitely pulling for Aeriths weapon. If I have that, do I need Cloud's? If she's already buffing his physical attack, I feel like I don't need his weapon just for the physical debuff. I can use Hard Edge, or something else for that
If you are missing a lot of his prior arcanums but have the weapons built, then his costume can come in handy, but yeah, Aerith covers half of Glavenus' job for sure, but Glav is also great because of R abilities even at lower OB levels, plus, Aerith will not always be a suitable teammate for certain content, so just keep that in mind.
I have his Fire, Lightning Ice and FF9 outfits. I guess I'll see if I get lucky pulling for Aerith first. Still saving for 1yr anniversary!
Ah yeah if you have FF9 and those Arcanum’s it’s not super necessary
From the start I thought aerith will be the one to go for and I was right. She’s pretty much the same as the kuja seph in the ff9 banner best is saved for last. In this crossover aerith > cloud > zack > tifa
But I really don’t like two characters on a banner especially on limited. Don’t know why people like it but I prefer to focus on a specific weapon and don’t want to risk my luck going to the other weapon I don’t want. Getting tifa weapon while aiming for aerith would be a waste unless you get lucky and close to ob6.
I’m still on the fence because I got ob6 arctic star, ob6 ceremonial and aerith floral costume which is also similar to the current one. I would probably wait till near the end and see what the summer datamine shows. But would at least want the guarantee copy.

Anyway down to 11k and end of page 3 with no more guaranteed so I think I'll stop. Btw aerith costume gives this ffx yuna vibe so I decided to pull. Loved yuna from ffx!
Not healthy to look backwards. Your heart said Tifa and that is ok! Besides Aerith base weapon and costume is still AMAZING. Plus now you have a Magic Lightning Arcanum!
Def stop pulls now tho, you need to save basically from now until 1 year Anni so as to not get crushed by it!

I have like 1k gems from 60k. I said Yolo 😂 I f'd up and forgot to change one of the guaranteed weapons to aeriths so im at ob 4 right now. I did get tifas weapon to ob2. My luck was absolutely junk 😂 i couldnt reverse psychology my luck! I did get tifas bunny gloves to ob6 though! Not to bad. Went to stamp card 3 and if i didnt get bunny gloves to ob6 id be so salty 😂 but im fine walking away with two new costumes as well. To start the crystal savings again! Lol
Dang I’ve made that mistake before in not changing the weapon in guaranteed slot so I feel your pain. But hey OB4 is definitely workable and that’s on OB6 Bunny Gloves!!
How on earth do you get that many crystals? Its taken me a month with the stamina pass and gifted crystals to get to 12000. Same with weapon parts. What am I missing here? 😂

Oops, I deleted my other comment asking about if I should still pull for Aerith's costume if I already have the Floral Gown. I currently have 87k crystals. I want about 100k for anniversary, plus 30k for Vincent. Maybe another banner if its really good for my account. I'll skip summer costumes. Haven't decided yet about this banner or Cloud/Zack one. Centipede and Guard stick are OB2, Fairy Tale is OB10. 4-Point Shuriken is OB3. Appreciate you taking time to advise, thanks!
My recommendation would be to get a single copy of Cloud’s sword whether by 3/4* OB with parts or pulling to 6th stamp. First option better imo.
Then to pull Aerith’s banner to first costume while getting a copy of her weapon. With the lower OB levels on guard stick and centipede I think the costume will be important for your account in the future, plus the weapon is a must have.
After that save til Vincent, drop 30K and save til 1 year.
Should be roughly
3-6K Cloud
20-30K for Aerith
30N Vincent
+ 80K by end of September if F2P
+ 100K by end of September if season pass
So 6+30+30 = 66K
87K-66K = 19K + 80-100K = 99-119K with room to spare on 1 other banner if all goes well 🙏🏽
Might also pull to Cloud’s costume if missing Battle Garb and other arcanum’s for him so as to compensate for their loss

I pull all 52k blue crystal for Tifa and aerith . Tifa OB 6 , but my poor aerith only a copy. so sad... Then i use red crystal 16k push aerith to ob1 , Tifa to OB10.

I did take your advice and got aeriths weapon spent 6k gems x2 and x4 stamp so not bad. The weapon is very good especially at ob1. currently sitting g at 57k gems so should be OK for vincent and anniversary as I will be skipping summer banners.

Idk One Piece was honestly pretty phenomenal but yeah YYHS was pretty terrible. I mean some parts were good, but overall the pacing and change of plot, plus the hyper speed trying to run through the tournament/toguro arc in 5 episodes? Just makes no sense

I think that's what ultimately killed YuYu. Trying to condense basically 2 entire arcs that were like 100ish episodes into 5 episodes was just not the right move.

Aerith does something entirely different with PATK up, so i highly recommend just at least getting a single copy of her weapon

Nah I wouldn’t say killer. If it was 70% > then yeah but with her being the healer you can control when to use it. So so rarely should we not be getting this cast at the right time 🙏🏽
It seems bad but honestly, almost every fight where I’ve needed to bring mdef up it’s to survive a big boss charged up aoe attack. In those cases I’m always trying to heal back up to full before I cast the mdef buff so I’m at full health and cast mdef once I’m healed, so it should still work with the same pattern only granting an extra patk boost at the same time. The other consideration is you can push her buff duration to 260%, making the listed 20 second initial skill duration actually last for 72 seconds. Before now, I’d usually have to buff my mdef with someone almost right before a big attack finished charging to make sure it doesn’t fall off before I need it. Now, I can cast the mdef buff way ahead of time as soon as I meet the hp threshold and then free up my atb for other things while I wait for an attack to connect.

I pulled for Aerith’s costume, stopping at the guaranteed weapon after it. So I have both their weapons at 5 star from guaranteed stamp card drops. Not a single 5 star banner drop. Not going any further.
