In this video I want to buy some of the best second hand golf clubs on the market... these Tayormade irons and some of the most expensive golf clubs money can buy. The TaylorMade P7TW irons have always been bucket list golf clubs for me... and now I can afford them second hand. Are these the best forgiving golf clubs of 2023? the best budget golf clubs of 2023? the best players irons of 2023? potentially none of the above, but in this video we take a look at some of the most important irons ever released...

I picked up a set last summer for $680 at Edwin Watts and traded my ZX7's in only payed around $320 for 4-PW. Best gear decision I've made and honestly like them so much I plan on ordering a new set when the grooves wear out!

I was fortunate enough to try these on course. My local muni I caught up to a fellow walker in front of me and while we were waiting on the tee he was admiring my vintage Tommy Armour blades I had at the time and he had these. He left me try them and they are an amazing feeling blade. They are just stupid smooth and surprisingly easy to look down on. They are butter soft. Such a pleasure to try
Switched from mp18s to these, (also got mine second hand) put my pured x100s in them and they are now my full time gamers, I hate missing long and hate missing left so honestly these are perfect for me
Very cool to have Tiger's irons and specs and to get to try them out. But what a display of putting in this video. It always comes down to putting!!!
My P7TW set is 4 to P they are amazing they are not the longest irons but my miss stay in play and they feel fantastic
Maybe I could save à couple of stroke with game improvement irons but i am CRAZY about those P7TW irons!!!
These clubs look great. I don’t know that my skill level would make them work like they are supposed to. Love the added grooves. I just started using Mizuno 923.
With those clubs, clean it and put a neoprene cover on each one after use. Otherwise you are going to dent up each one below it as you clank down the fairway.

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.
Had the original Mizuno Pro blade irons in the early 80's but have played long enough now to realise more help is required!
Bought a set of srixon z945 blades this summer used for $200. Plan was to use for ball striking. Walked out that day with no practice and shot a 78 which was a personal low score. When I’m playing well they’re awesome and fun (especially the 3 iron) but I’m not good enough to game them in the cold. Nothing like squaring up a blade.
Blades are all you need baby.
I still use his 2000 versions - Titleist 681 with T stamped, same shaft. These irons have the best feel and I always go back to them when I swing well. Control is through the roof. Long blade length so u can open n shut the door through the ball. Easy to hit low, easy to hit high. Great feedback and keeps you honest. I also have Lydia Kos 2014 set with the same shafts . Those are pure too. Lofted the same as the P7TW surprisingly. Thinking of getting Xanders PGA driver setting. I collect cool clubs.
I have the victory red tiger woods irons. Their hands down the best feeling clubs I've ever used
I still think the Cobra RF MB copper blades are the best looking blades ever. They aren’t my gamers, but I really like taking mine out for a spin now and then. I’ll probably never get rid of them.

The lofts are very similar to my mp15s. Love that they no offset, was one of the reasons i got the mp15s over game improvement irons, even though im a high handicapper

Have you tried Mizuno TP 11 irons? I have them and I find them very playable, feel fantastic and look very similar to those but way more forgiving having watched you hit those
I was lucky enough to have 2 brand new sets both 3iron to Pw then able to pick up the wedges too. I am gaming 1 set and displaying the second set with MG1 wedges in box too. I love them.

I play super mint like new Nike vapor pro irons I love the feel and look of those irons, I’m a double handicap. I have p770 irons that I leave in the garage that I know will help my game I just love blades. With my misses that stay in play.
My first set of irons were the Nike slingshots. Now taylormade Stealth. My game has improved to single digit handicap, but the consistency and confidence I get from my game improvement irons are huge! Considering a combo set for my next. ZX 4 and 5.

Having hit everything from takomo’s line to the pxg this year the srixon’s by and far are the easiest most consistent and most fun to play with.. set 2,3,4, and 5 are i230’s, i525’s, paradym’s, p790’s, and the takomo 201’s

When I was a kid playing flea market clubs about everything in my bag was a blade. I didn't carry any woods. I would like to try blades again just to see how it goes.
I wish more clubs were made with extra grooves
I so want a set of those bad boys! I also spy a set of Bettinardi wedges, those things feel incredible, hope we have some content with those soon as well.
James, I have two sets of the Nike tiger woods, I played them both for a few years and then put them up. I have looked for other sets since then and you can't you just can't find them. Is new TaylorMade stuff is gorgeous!

I bought the P7TW in December 2019, just before the pandemic. My plan was to use them in the driving range only for practice to work on improving my swing. I ended up using them on the course and although they are not forgiving, I enjoyed playing them. I still played them a few times this last season, and they are NOT for sale. I also find that the Cobra forged MB RF copper iron is a little more challenging than the P7TW with almost no offset and thinner.
I play the RF Rev33's and don't believe one word of 'game improvement'. The cool golf channel or whatever did robot testing on the P7TW's had tighter dispersion than any of the game improvement nonsense they tested. They didn't come out and say that because they're fooled too, but go and look at the plots compared to the other irons they tested.
Awesome! Talking best looking irons they are definetly somwhere up there but surprisingly for me one of the best looking irons are Takomo 301mb's 🤷♂️

I got myself the Nike VR2 Pro forged blades which is the same club, fantastic piece of work but not very forgiving :)

I bought these brand new 5yrs ago and gamed them ever since. I cant bring myself to take them out the bag... these are the only clubs that deserve iron covers..
James, whatever you do don’t (I repeat) don’t give back that Swag Putter. I’ve never seen you putt so well.
I bought these when they first came out and had them in my spec. I played them for 2 years and still have them but don't play them anymore.

I got mine a week ago in s400 lol they still in the box cause I can’t open them till Christmas. When I order them it said wouldn’t ship till January and they came a week after I placed the order. They aren’t worth that much just play them lol.

NO I would not use them. Atm the most "unforgiving" TM club for me is p790 when I strike very very well... I have p790 7i often on range and probably next season will be able to play them

They are god tier in the looks department.
Modern irons are all good. Good forged are more consistant, less hot spots than cast gameimprovements. It's all about head design, are you a digger or sweeper (bounce), weight and then it's about the right shaft for your load on average stroke. Length and lie not too important - except most new drivers are way too long. If you find the fitting combo, you'll score better and have much more fun than before with non fitting clubs. Forged irons are always better, and not that difficult to play.
I think the secret winning club in this video was, again, the Swag Handsome Two
I would never use those clubs. Why make the game harder? That putter is another story. Works like a magicians wand.

The fact that his irons have MORE. Grooves is really making me rethink my PING i59’s. Maybe they were on to something? Maybe my pings ARE actually good irons. Maybe I just need lessons instead of new clubs?

Fortunate enough to have a set of these hiding in the cupboard as well as the matching MG2 limited wedge set. God knows what they are worth now but i am certainly not playing them.

I would love to own a set of his irons, not in the belief that I will play like Tiger woods, because I do not believe in trying to play like anybody. I am sure when Tiger was really in his prime he was not worried about trying to be Jack, Hogan, Player, Lee or anybody else. He was trying to be the best of himself, which is way he now has his own style of clubs for his game and his game only. I also feel that when it comes to golf sets, we tend to lean towards the brands that have big names other than quality of the clubs them self. I also do not believe that just because you have TM, Call, Ping, and Titlest means that you are going to go out and play as the best. I believe that Tiger and others can hit any club and kick ass no matter the brand of club as long as it is made to fit them they will do well.

You should have played the same shots with your current gamers just to show all the 20+ handicapers who insist on playing blades “because they make you a better striker” how much distance and consistency they are actually missing out on. These type of clubs are literally for the top 5-10% of players.

These irons were meant to be put in a frame and not gamed. Only the big cat can use them.
I couldn’t get the best from a set like these! Blades aren’t for me!
