People always (and rightfully so) acknowledge Pharrell’s genius. But, people always forget Chad Hugo influence as well. He was behind a lot of those hit songs.
Thats very true. Majority of Pharrell's catalog is with Chad. They had a brief moment that they took time apart to venture off and Pharell did produce solo joints rightfully s but at the end of the day 97% to 99% of Pharrell catalog is with his producing partner Chad Hugo.
I BEEN SAYING THIS FOR YEARS! Like people forget it wasn't Pharrell producing those hits, it was the Neptunes! The duo was working together but with Pharrell as the one who's always out front people forget about the other side of the genius.
All of them bridges and pretty ass chords or super unique sounds or saxophone solos came from Chad! I NEVER just say Pharrell… it’s The Neptunes!!!

Timbaland is in my top 3 favorite producers of all time in hip-hop. He elevated the genre. And huge shout-out to Swizz too! Insane track record.

I've always been a huge fan of Timbaland but in the last couple of years, have gained MORE respect for Swizz. Read that again, MORE respect. They could've NOT done Verzuz, and still been living legends. But here we are. In the words of the great Busta Rhymes: Where we about to take it???

I read the day before the song released Aaliyah demanded they be put back on stole the master with the crickets off and the rest is history. It's wild how something so subtle made all the difference
