I met Method Man as a young reporter when he came to perform in Trinidad back in the 90s. He was such a cool character and we just chatted for about an hour and it was not an interview, we were just talking. I'll never forget how gentle he was. I'm happy to see how excellent he is doing at this stage in his career! Love him always! ❤❤❤

I'm 33. I remember back in like 2003 or 2004. The last summer jam that was free here in Detroit down at Heart Plaza, I had backstage passes with a couple of my homies, and I got to perform right next to Method Man on stage. I was literally one person away from him rocking out to the crowd. classic moment for me.💯

I'm 36 and i remember some day in the early 00s i was smoking weed outside a bar we play pool at in Amsterdam.
All of the sudden we seen methodman walk by. So i told my friend and he did not believe me. So we followed him and i said Yoo meth, i love your music and gave him a fist bump.

I felt that whole conversation as a old head at 37 years old when meth said about mixing real r&b with hip hop/rap . You don't really hear that authentic r&b sound anymore mixed with hip hop/rap like you used to back in the day . Now it's more autotuned. It was more authentic back then .
