Unc, really putting his mark in media. He’s interviewing legends, asking great questions, and he’s being a great listener. He will get the recognition that he deserves in media! Keep up the great work Unc💯
I’ve been a timbaland fan since I was young. Him missy, ginuwine, playa, Aaliyah, Magoo man nobody could touch them. Oh yeah through tweet in there also. Im still bumping them right to this day. Thanks Shannon for interviewing my favorite producer.
When Timbo said he was a night person and would get in the studio from 1am while Pharell was a 9-5pm guy.....it's crazy because you can litterally hear it in their music. Timbo's sound is dark. Pharells sound is light.
Such a blessing to have Timbaland with us. Grew up listening to him and Missy Elliot and seeing him take over pop sound with Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, etc. love him! We need Missy next because she’s another legend that helped shape the music of today.
I was super excited for the Timbo interview, and it did not disappoint! I was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area, and we love all of our artists who made it big and represent us across the globe. We all know that Timbo is the King, but I had no idea that he was this humble! I have a newfound respect, brother. Salute! Great job, Shannon!
I gotta say this… MUCH respect to Shay. I remember watching him in the league as the super ripped athlete TE that’ll talk to you! Bro made a name for himself in this hip/hop//sports media space. I bet CBS feeling they made a mistake.. ✊🏾
Great to see Timbo still be relevant I grew up with the pony, one in a million, try again Era and all the hits in the 2000s. And how he appriciate Missy and Dont count him at the mount Rushmore just shows why he is the GOAT 💯💯💯
I agree with the R Kelly commentary 100%. You can not deny the talent that man possessed and discount his huge collection of hits with his personal dysfunction.
RUclips is such a gift! The production value of some of the content (like this show) is so incredible. It's not just entertainment, I'm learning. I love seeing our legends sharing their stories with us. Then on top of that I'm noticing more of our people are developing and owning their content. This means when our legends do these interviews with the community the entire community grows as we have a legacy which inspires us to be great.
Your comment is so on point- this is an exchange of information and entertainment- Club Shay Shay is a perfect mix. I tune in from the Middle East and look forward to new shows.
Shannon…your interviewing style has made you a force in the media game. You do your homework and ask the questions that allows your audience to understand how the person interviewed began and all of the steps leading up to now. Started watching Club Shay-Shay from the beginning and your evolution is 🔥🔥🔥.
Shannon is bringing all of our favorite people who we don't get a chance to hear from. It's like when Prince or Elvis did Movie's. We have more memories of Good people who we never met.
After this episode, you definitely have to have a sit down with Missy Elliott. I’m a huge Missy fan. I always thought Tim was responsible for her career. Never knew she was responsible for his.
Timberland is an amazing artist and producer! This was a great interview! I love that he gave Missy her flowers! Just a very humbled man! He put VA on the map!
Timberland being once addicted to Opioids back in 2011 explains alot. Ive always wanted to know why he mishandled the artist Tink. Now I understand he wasn't himself and was trying to get back there. Sad because I think they could have made amazing music. He is a living legend

Usher vs Beyonce needs to happen. Not Rihanna vs Beyonce. That's not competition. But Bey and Ush are the male and female versions of each other in a way. Their VERZUZ would be incredible.
@@jkarrhysaw I've been trying to push this Verzuz on Instagram, Twitter, here, anywhere they can hear it. It's outside the box but makes total sense. Hopefully itll all come together. 2024 should be loaded with some big time Verzuz. Hoping we get a good one before the year is out
I don't know about Usher vs Beyonce,..they bring very different things to it other than their voice. It would be hard to choose one over the other based on their individuality as well as their gender. I might love Beyoncés music, but once Usher takes that shirt off, it's over for her, lol!
@@jenniferphillips8010 Haha! I suppose I could say the same for Beyonce if she loses her shirt lol -- I still stand by this pick. They came up in a similar time at the top of their R&B game, they have music and performances together over the years, they have distinctive voices and tons of hits. Verzuz shouldn't be easy to choose, when it comes down to the music. Each artist needs a worthy opponent and I still think it's different enough that it just might work.
This was a great interview, learnt alot about those Timb had worked and produced songs for and yes! had Aaliyah never tragically lost her life there's no doubt in my soul in 2023? She would be top 3/5 best female artist of this generation, she was a triple threat with her dancing, voice and movie roles. R.I.P 🕊️
Timbaland's sound is one of the most creative I've heard. And he's done it in so many different lanes. Shoutout to Missy for hearing it and helping him to cultivate it. As far as Verzuz, a few I think would be great: Quincy Jones vs Berry Gordy Backstreet Boys vs N Sync Boyz II Men vs Jodeci Toni Braxton vs Anita Baker Cameo vs Atlantic Starr

Beautiful interview. Enjoyed it very much and congrats to Timbaland's realization, recovery, restoration and realness ...inspirational for sure. Much Love!

Timbaland is my favorite producer of all time and my music catalog and playlist consist of 90% of his beats and production. However im very disappointed that both Tim and Shannon overlooked and didn't acknowledge Ginuwine. Ginuwine debut album was Tim's first mainstream introduction as a producer, Missy, and Aaliyah. No shade but JT was a shadowed template of Ginuwine's work.
