Hello Carol, I am sorry this happened. I know it is too late now but I'd like future patients to know. If you can't get the light to stop blinking red and the sensor is applied, it is likely a bad sensor. There will be nothing you can do and we are sorry for the inconvenience. You'd need to bring it in in the morning and you'll be given a functioning device. Apologies for the inconvenience, it is rare but when it does happen we will take corrective action to make sure you're well taken care of. Thank you.
I tried for 3 nights on 2 different machines and the same port on each machine would start out green and within a couple of minutes started blinking red even though there was nothing unattached to too loosely attached.@@thesaddoc

This did not account for a blinking red light that would not reset. All conduits are attached as shown but one sensor continues to blink red.

If I sleep for about 6 hours, but I'm not sure I actually went over 6 hours. If I try again, will the old data be overwritten?
